Hallucinogens and entheogenic substances are different enough that you cant accurately use the words interchangeably. Entheogenic concoctions, as the name suggests, are meant to connect one with “god,” with what is considered sacred within one’s self, and what connects one with all that is sacred. One partakes of hallucinogens to “trip,” and one partakes of entheogens to embark on a “journey.”
Not in”toxic”ated, the purpose of entheogens is not toxic. The goal is to unite with the divine and incorporate that divinity into the self. Not “getting high,” but transcendence of the illusion of separation from the divine.
The result of not being able to fight, run or freeze is to have trauma ,and that is nothing you want to have with toxic people ,but you have no choice, nature has made you that way.
