I love walking by Salmo's place, the smell of Glarthir baking is amazing
Baked wood elf smells the same as bread
With their diet probs smells like meatloaf
Bread IS baked wood elf
“And to think I trusted you” whilst simultaneously being torn asunder into a doorway whilst aflame.
Truly Shakespearian
I was disappointed you can't actually buy Salmo's bread and sweet roles.
one can ... if one has COBL
It's the only thing powerful enough to rip away the dreamsleeve. It's better to not risk tearing asunder reality for sweetrolls and bread.
The bread is more important
I'm so happy people still upload oblivion clips
I love the smell of bread in the morning. It smells like victory.
"I'll buy sweetrolls from Salmo the Baker any day."
I'll buy sweetrolls from Salmo the Baker any day. Once, I was carrying a sweetroll when three thugs attacked me. So, I took the sweetroll....
i dunno why this interaction is the most intriguing for me... maybe an unfinished voiceline?
@@valentinorubio703 No, it's a running gag in The Elder Scrolls. During the character creation process In Arena, Daggerfall, and Morrowind, you can be given a set of questions to answer to help you determine your class. One question asks what you would do in a situation where you're stopped on the street by someone that demands you give them your sweetroll. This situation also plays out at the beginning of Fallout 3 when Butch tells you to give him your birthday sweetroll. And of course there's the infamous "Let me guess, someone stole your sweetroll?" line in Skyrim.
@@Bauglir100 i remember Butch and the usual line of the guards of Skyrim but i never knew this was a gag... i played Arena and Daggerfall but i think i've never saw that question
@@valentinorubio703 Probably because you never took the personality test and just picked a class yourself.
@@Bauglir100 wrong, i made the personality tests in Arena... On Daggerfall, i can't remember quite well.
Hm,, I didn't even know they liked flamed Glarthir so much! Must be a house Speciality.
Don't tell me that the Breton Boys, promote Salmo's sweetrolls from Glarthir's fried smell.
Just offscreen is the keytargonian, inspired by this moment to create the keytar solo that would not just be loved by an entire generation of baked tavern goers, but launch his independent career making him the de facto artist among the upper crust at the turn of the era.
the dude talking about salmo's is an altmer.
SON?
there's a guard in Skingrad with a gossip interaction, he uses like a mocking voice and tells a story where he was attacked by robbers or something (i can't remember it quite well) while carrying a Salmo's sweetroll, but the story ends unresolved with a "so, i took the sweetroll..."
They even have the same VAs lol.
Never trust an elf
Tumindil so Oblivious...
I see Tumindil has some wood elf blood in him.
Stay hungry
That's what you get for having a high fantasy name
Wood elfs would smell like wood, right?
You didn't play the "avoid Glarthir for as long as possible" game tho ;___;
wait, I thought Salmo was a he/him
There was an old game called Ultima 7, probably partially inspired TES, and there main character's companions would indeed notice the smell of freshly baked bread when walking past a bakery during its working hours. Needless to say, the player could come in and help the baker make bread - bring water, make dough and so on
Ultima had some really nice details for its time. Proper RPG
you have your mouse set at 1dpi?
