Thank You!! Very nice video. Can you tell me please if you flip the image at the monitor, and connect it to HDMI out to another monitor, how will be the image at the second monitor? flipped or like the original source? thank you
Great video ! Thanks for doing this ! Question please. I just received my S55. On this I noticed whether using the AC adapter or Sony Battery the monitor cannot be totally shut off. Pressing the power button puts it in a 'Standby' mode with the Red light on. Bit of a concern in that it would be still draining the battery. Have you noticed this ?
@@JacobScott Thanks so much for the quick reply...Ok got it...Seems to be the nature of the beast then....At least I know mine is not defective :>) - Cheers !
@@JacobScott Hi there. Just as a follow up I contacted Feelworld tech support regarding this. Here is an excerpt of their reply -> “…..the red light is on because the monitor is not powered off. If you want to turn off the monitor and prevent it from running out of power, you just need to disconnect the power adapter or remove the battery, and the monitor will no longer light a red light…”
Congratulations on the video. See if you can help me. I bought this S55 monitor from Feelworld and I can't monitor the camera audio for it. It does not receive audio from the camera. I'm using it on a Canon 6D. I'm from Brazil
Hy! I just ordered one of these, because your review convinced me :D Very useful, and rare review, you cant find a lot about the S55. I only have two questions. I have Sony Np - F550 battery, do you have any idea how long can it power this monitor, or what battery do you use/recommend for a 3-4 hour long runtime? My second question is, that with the audio jack output, how clean is the audio compared to the actual outcome of your audio? Because I have heard that other Feelworlds make the audio a bit noisy in the jack. Thank you for in advance!
As for audio, I have only used the jack about once or twice, it is definitely better than having nothing at all but I never noticed a bunch of noise. And if you need lots of screen on time I would look into sony NP-f970 batteries
Hello friend, good video! A query ... how do I make the screen appear complete ?, I have tried everything, like changing the resolution, pressing the info button repeatedly and I still see more options on the edge of the screen and instead of having the 5.5 of An inch that my feelworld offers I only have 4.5 to give you an example. I wish you could help me a thousand thanks!
My screen starts stretching my display when i press record, anyone know how to fix this? Currently only use it on my old beginners camera, the canon 60d
You mentioned that the monitor supports a 4k signal up to 24fps. My Canon SL3 (250D) shoots only at 30fps or 60fps (4k 30fps/1080 60fps). Does that mean, it won't work with the SL3??
bro, it's okay to be in the middle of the frame. you have me starring at all this negative sapience for no reason no i have to legit turn my head to look at you lol then your inserts draw ,my attention to the middle of the screen then you pop and i gotta look to the left again.
Great video!
Does this monitor output higher resolutions than the display... Specifically FHD and 4k?
a swear you are underrated. the algorithm needs to do better for you. try promoting on IG
Thanks! I was doing a lot of promoting on IG, I need to get back into it
Couldnt agree more! Keep crushing it Jacob!
Appreciate it!
@@JacobScott just shared the video on my pages
Thaaaanks, was thinking in buy a "cheaper good option" AND this Is just what i need
Glad i could help

Great tutorial, I should've watched 4 years ago. Does this monitor provide a playback feature? Thank you.
You’re welcome! Besides the menus it only plays back what is on your camera
Any clue to how to change the text side? For me it's too small. Thanks in advance
I do not actually
I really plan to add this monitor on my arsenal due to its price
Jacob, being 1280x720 do you think a full hd is worth more?
It's such a small screen that I don't think it matters to much
You need more views! I like all about this video
Great video! Much appreciated :D
Thanks for sharing your experience with this particular model.
Love your channel my good man.
Ski-ter Jones thanks, glad you enjoy the videos!

It seems that everyone’s monitor does this. I normally remove my battery when not in use

New to this, what sort of battery does this take?

@@JacobScott thanks for the answer!! 👊

But i can record in 1920*1200 and are in this monitor or i can use of only rrcording in the Same max resolution of display?
You can record video in higher resolutions, as I know, up to 4k
Hi, is 1280x720 enough? Or do you miss more resolution?
panther sherry I find it to be enough, it is pretty sharp
@@JacobScott Thank you very much for your help!
underrated channel
Hey man, planning to pick up this monitor, do you still use it after 4 months? And would you recommend it after more exploitation? Thanks in advance
dakhos yes I would still recommend it! I am actually using it as I am writing this comment
@@JacobScott by the way, does it heat a lot? heard another fullhd models usually heat
It does get pretty warm, never had it overheat though
@@JacobScott thanks a lot man, you're savior, ordering one now, on sales it's only 90 bucks
dakhos that is a steal for that price!!!

Good editing but annoying hand movements! Makes for me too hard to watch!
Don't worry, I fired my hands.... They just couldn't handle the pressure of being on camera
