I saw a lot of confusion about low entity units like Wrathmonger, Doomsekers and somehow also Skullreaper and Depthguards. They are not meant to be frontline units, to take charges and to fight by themself, but they are units that should be mixed with your frontline to inflict high damage and to mitigate damage taken. For example, you are fighting vs high armor foes like Chaos, Dwarves, new Black Orcs, etc., your Khorne Chosen are not performing well (at least not at their maximum) for their lack of AP damage. Mix them with Wrathmonger and you will be fine. It is true that Khorne already have AP infantry in Bloodletters, but they are weak against magical damage, as for example Dwarf Hammerers: high armor and magical damage, perfect for one frontline unit and Wrathmongers without risk your Bloodletters. Bit redoundant? Very specific? Maybe, but what you expect from a magicless, melee heavy faction? Khorne always has the right weapon for the right enemy, as for example Skullreapers, they are perfect for daemonic and ethereal units for their magical damage and the lack of armor of these units. This is another demostration of the utility of these tests: very very little! At least they are good to entertainment, but some units are not designed for these kind of situation. And this is also the demostration of how many people don't play this game tactically, but only want op units to click and win. And this could be fine, but please, don't blame CA for things you don't want to understand.
That isn't a factor. I tested them with the splash attack fix mod and they perform exactly the same. They still manage to lose to Black Orks. Their issue is that they have way too low of HP for their armor and model count as what is meant to be a max-tier elite infantry unit. They have half the HP per model of Aspiring Champions which are meant to be equivalent in tier. They either need a substantial HP boost or they need a model count reduction to 16 (same as Aspiring Champs) and a considerable boost to their Weapon Strength to compensate for the loss of DPS from fewer models, effectively turning them into the pseudo monstrous infantry they ought to be.

That was just painful to watch
Apparently the reason why Wrathmongers suck atm is because of the bug affecting splash damage.
That Bug only affects monstrous units between 100 and 200 weapon strength, and even there not every single one, at least as far as I know
@JuGsa I heard it affects all units with splash damage. Oh well only time will tell.
