Hello, can the worm grow in water of 24 ° C with strong lighting? I would like to put some in an aquarium where I grow my plants.

      Dear Sir:
That would be 75.2 degrees Fahrenheit. These worms prefer cooler temperatures. However, I continue to catch blackworms that are living in the gravel of my tanks, which are at 78 degrees Fahrenheit. I don’t believe that they propagate well at higher temperatures. Intense lighting is probably not an issue as they can burrow into the substrate. Though blackworms have no eyes do have light receptors and can tell when they are in the dark, or in the light. I would recommend culturing blackworms at room temperature. Is it necessary to keep the plants that warm?
      Please advise.
      Thank you for your interest.
      Sincerely,
      Brinegar
