Because of the Seal of Orichalcos, they actually felt pain when a monster hit them, so Pharaoh was basically torturing Wheewil.
It kinda got me wondering if Martin managed to convince the original cast to reprise their roles for these scenes. I honestly can't tell if it's not them. Same for that unnamed Oricalcos minion from the beginning of the ark.
that's like the episode in battle city part of the abridged where that kid kept calling joey, Jonouchi, cause that's his japenese and Honda is Tristan's.
There's also that part of the Noah arc, where you have Tristan ride a motorcycle, with Joey asking if it's a Honda, reffering to the brand of the motorcycle, with the others saying "No, his name's Tristan".

IDK if you'll read this or if anyone in the comments mentioned it already, but it is implied in the series that the Pharaoh can literally will the cards he wants to the top of his deck which is why he usually draws what he needs to win. In this duel he is not only torturing Weevil due to the Orichalcos making the attacks feel real, he is also so pissed off at Weevil that he forces every card he draws to be a monster in order to keep attacking him. It really makes this scene feel much more brutal when you realize that.
I think LK’s impersonations are actually pretty on-point. I think the ones he does best are Kaiba, Weevil, Grandpa and Pegasus. He should work for…well, maybe not the dubbing company for Yu-Gi-Oh!, but some kind of dubbing company. Long as it’s not Funimation. Up theirs.

As must as I hate to feel pity, Weevil deserves every ounce of Breaker's sword for tricking Yami into thinking he tore up Yugi's soul card. Yami was extremely emotionally unstable after losing his light, and Weevil pushed him into a corner. Basically Yugi was Yami's moral compass, pulling him back when he got too extreme with his opponents, best example was the second official duel Yugi and Kaiba had in Duelist Kingdom. Mess with Yami's light, you're fucked.
Now that you've actually caught up, besides the movies and the couple musical parodies, you don't have much of this left to watch. I knew nothing about playing Duel Monsters until I picked up my phone and downloaded the game. Now I can say for sure that I know a great deal about the game.
