i only have a $15 blender but seeing how you can make all these delicious creamy stuff like this lemon basil hempseed mayo for raw meals, the money is worth it to get a vitamix blender. no cheap blender can make creamy stuff like that. it wont blend without enough liquids so I miss out on lot of these delicious raw meals you have. these look so freaking good.
You can always try using a cheese cloth to strain out the extra water :) I bought an Omni blender myself- but it is still on the pricey side Before I had that I bought a $5 used hand held mixer and made these sauces all the time- You just need to put in a little elbow grease to get the job done instead of the blender doing all the work for you. Granted they were not quite as good, but they were definitely delicious!
A food processor is great substitute in the mean time. I've made perfectly smooth banana ice cream and other sauces in my food processor with no problems.
I second this. I tried the curry zoodles today and I really wanted to love them but I didn't finish them. That's totally not like me because I love zoodles and I like curry. Not mention Kristina's curry zoodles look divine. I plan to try the dish one more time from scratch because maybe today was an off day. Smh.
I had to play around with that one too. I found my fav was actually making the Avacado sauce instead. Sometimes I follow her recipe but most of the time I leave out the basil and keep it simple. My partner isn't all about the raw vegan stuff and even he was requesting more of the Avacado version! Maybe try that?

looks like one tasty sandwich! I found a raw flax pizza base in my local health food store and used this recipe to make a fully raw pizza... it was so good... like I'm drooling just thinking about it lol
I basically made it exactly the same as Kristina's sandwich, only difference was I used a larger round raw vegan flax base instead of the smaller crackers. I used the lemon, basil, hemp seed mayo as the pizza base sauce and then layered on all the fresh veggies... mumma mia soo good!! I have in the past, if i was feeling a little lazy, smashed some avocado, chopped up some cherry or grape tomatoes a little bit of spanish onion and lemon juice, mixed that all together and used that as the base pizza sauce and topped it off with lots of rocket (equally delish). I purchased the pizza base from my local organic food store "Mrs Watson's" in Cronulla, Sydney Australia, so I don't know if that helps you? but the brand is Kitz Living Foods and here it their website. Enjoy :)

I heard about the raw -vegan lifestyle through Kristina's videos, and I'm low in cash right now, so I'm just eating what I can, but sometime soonish (after my refund check hits), I am going to do a 2 week, 100% raw-vegan "challenge" and hopefully I will be able to keep (afford) the lifestyle :) I love the idea of going raw, and am excited to try it! :D And I am even more excited to try Kristina's recipes, yum! :)

I never liked to cook in my life and always preferred just fruits. But now I more often prepare raw dishes and give to those with whom i live. It became a mean to share love. I also hesitated to write some comments in youtube coz was a bit inside myself. But after 21 day raw challenge i got taste for it

yum!! i love to made flax bread; i add like a dozen different kinds of minced veggies to soaked flax, some seasonings, and then dehydrate with my excalibur. so good to make little pizzas, too.

If you want a sort of sauce like Kristina made, just mash avocado with a fork and add lemon juice!
