Do you wake up everyday looking for something to complain about? The new trend of stigmatising DEI won't succeed. Hating DEI initiatives and discussions won't be normalised, never. I'm a black tech founder like the guy and I know how uniquely difficult and lonely the journey can be for people who look like me. So even that he built a business with hard work and got made at it, I bet he has his fair share of struggle as a minority and I'm sure he isn't shy about it or would shrug it off.

The host is a journalist and that's what they do. They evoke interesting, engaging or sensitive discussion points even at the discomfort of the guest.
