I love doing these frames but on a smaller scale. Great project! I use the method of collaging a big piece then die cut it. I love it when you do a Sunday video! It takes my mind off, starting another working week so thank you and appreciated! ❤❤❤

Don’t give up on your sewing machine, you can revive your relationship! That happened to me a few times-check your bobbin is in the right way, your machine is threaded right or even a piece of thread gets stuck in the bobbin case. It’s a nice friend to have ☺️ Love the frames you made! I thought about doing this as well and was going to try using my cricut but it’s in storage so I’ll try your way!
And Sometimes the tension just gets cranky & ya gotta put it to rights! (Which Always made ME..CRANKY!) I don't even have one anymore. Would ❤ to add some sewing touches to my projects.

I don’t know what I did, but can’t even get a straight stitch. 😢 I love the look of sewing, but losing steam on trying. These frames are a great example of why you will soon be at 50k! I love the look of sewing and used to be able to sew a little. I made a whole patchwork quilt for my youngest when she was a baby. But for some reason have had nothing but problems trying to sew paper. Currently I can't get the bottom thread to come out at all. It's like it's not set up properly but I've re threaded everything a million times, made sure to clean things out, removed the plate to see what's going on and everything and it's like the bobbin isn't in proper but it's in the same way it's always been and doesn't go in any other way so I'm at a loss. Very frustrating. That being said, while the sewing is a nice touch, the frames look amazing even without that element!

if The bunching is on the bottom then check your thread tension on the top of the machine. Make sure you are using good quality thread. Im assuming your machine is new, but if its second hand then it could be in a desperate need of a clean.
Hello Margreth, I do like these frames, I too have the TH and thought I could make these and have made a few for my Edith Holden journal. And it’s just the tension needs to be back off a tiny bit or it isn’t threaded right. I like it when the sewing looks like that on a project after all it’s a junk journal😀☺️😊 love ya and hurry up next Monday.😊

Looks like your tension is off on your sewing machine. Also, make sure the threads are in the right place under the foot and hang on to them when you start sewing. You can also double check that your machine is threaded properly including the bobbin. Hopefully this will help you get back to your sewing machine! Much love!❤️🇨🇦

Another great idea. You can use the middle of the oval die cut as a tag. You might just need to take your sewing machine in for cleaning and adjusting. I'm getting ready to do that with mine because it is doing the same thing yours is doing.

Or maybe use a new needle, if there are irregularities in it then it will cranckle your thread

Your local Public Library should have free access to computers and printers.
