🕰 I don't discuss future content nor take requests for future content so please don't ask 😇
🤔 Due to the channel growth and number of people wanting help I no longer can answer or even read questions and they will just stay in the moderation queue never to be seen so please post questions to other sites like Reddit, Microsoft Community Hub etc.

Great video. As always presentation is great. Keep them coming. Every company is doing cost savings incorrectly, all based it on subjective success rather than objective

Thanks John, these are some of your most important videos! What good is the technology if we cannot communicate how it makes life better for a business?

Great message, and spot on as always! The big issue with a message like this is that it often comes from the top (C-level exec) and is very political. So then you need to work through the landmines associated with that. This is usually trickier than the technical solution(s).

Yep, why you need to work with them and get them to understand the ramifications of a one dimensional message.

Thanks John. Loved this video, really resonates with seeing the bigger picture. The only problem being I watched this directly after your 1st Dec infrastructure update and was hoping for more of the Nakatomi Plaza T-Shirt. Please keep up the excellent content.

Brilliant vid - communicates all the right messages. I'm lucky in that my CTO has always emphasised the same points during our technical discussions, so when I speak to partners/customers, I know to drive home the same points.

Triple constraints - Maximize one, Reduce one, Accept one - that's your choices. Problem is in my company they want to maximize 2, or even try to tell teams they need to Maximize on all 3 as maximized. With reduced teams , higher and higher reports on burnout, Employee survey scores are trending middle of the road, inflation and pay raises not keeping up with it....ALLLLL that starts to affect the triple constraint. And yet they don't care.

Other kind of behavior that I noticed is people wasting resources so when company sends message about cost optimisation they got quick wins immediately.

You can reduce cloud cost by 10% and increase labor cost by 30%. I hit my goal, but I may have cost the company money.
