My husband is a retired automotive engineer and he said he would move the lights from center another 2 or 3 inches. He stated you’re doing a great job and we’re so happy to see a young man working with his hands and doing quality work. Wanting to see the AAR Cuda as he builds old MOPARS!!
The massive size of those fenders and running boards and front bumper needs massive headlights to go with them. Great choice! Loving how it's coming along. That yeller bar is the most useful tool with no moving parts I have ever seen!
Do you ever run at the Mid-South Live Steam track? I was down there about 2004 with a few friends. It's a nice track. They used to pressure test boilers and certify them, but I don't know if they still do.
Wow, that grill, the split windscreen, those fenders.. ..incredibly nostalgic for me; in the late 70's my small-dairy uncle was actively using a old Diamond T on his farm. A decade later it was one of the most interesting old heaps around the place, well-loved but totally run into the ground. I also recall riding in what I think was an early Diamond-Rio, asking about the swinging warning alert arm at the top of the windshield that had something about "air brakes" written on it.. ..and being told not to worry about it! We were moving slowly on fairly level terrain iirc, so hopefully there really wasn't anything wrong with relying on the standard brakes.
I have followed the Diamond T and waited patiently for part 2. Move the headlights around until YOU are satisfied. I really like your will it run videos because you do not follow the square body crowd and bring back what some would say are lost causes. I am 80 and working on a 1953 Dodge 2 ton partly due to you. Live in Arkansas and got it in Arkansas. Keep up the good work.
This truck just embodies the feeling of get out of my way I got work to do vibe. The massive headlights fit great where they are at and that bumper looks like you could hit a cow and not dent it. Really love how this build is coming along and can't wait till we can all see it going down the road.
After a hard day, it fun to see you putting these old trucks back together. I think I can hear the crickets in the background imagining you’re working on this in the evening. Great work! Greetings from Marietta Ga!
Really enjoy watching your videos! Can't wait to see were this series goes - I personally think the lights look great and I'm imagining the whole will be one awesome monster of a truck!
@jenningsmotorsports7554 fantastic bud from one wrencher to another keep it up. I recently saw there was a article written up about your channel so you're on the right track.
Man, I've been looking forward to this video for a little while now and have to say it was worth the wait! The headlights look great where they are, they look like they should have always been there.
I think the big lights look good I do think they need to move a inch or so maybe to center of the fenders outside that stay on the path your on looking great can’t wait to see the ol girl rolling down the road
I personally think the headlights look pretty good where they're at, you should devote most of your time to this truck as I've found it most interesting. I love the "will it run" series though so it's a pretty big toss up.
The truck looks incredible!! The Cadillac lights are so AWESOME!!! I’m totally fired up for the Diamond truck build!! It’s also really good to see more videos, thank you!!!
big headlights are awesome! i'd leave them where they are, seems to work well as is. you could do a walk around video on the Cuda with just where it's at and what you are waiting on.
I am normally not a fan of lifted trucks at all. In fact, I can't stand them. That being said, this truck is gonna be friggin cool. I love your vision on this. If I was gonna do it, I would do it the exact same way. You need to bring this thing to some shows or something once you finish it. I would love to see it in person. I love it.
You should build a heavy duty box for the jack and one for each jack stand that would be a lot safer than the pipe i love that truck it’s going to be so cool can’t wait to see it finished
Am I ever glad I found your channel. I like the size of the headlights and where they're mounted, this is going to be one tough looking truck like no other. It's great seeing a young guy so creative and mechanically talented doing successful hands on projects most wouldn't know where to begin. I'll be watching for update videos on this truck.
GREAT ANOTHER VIDEO,, MY SON MAX 8 LOVES YOUR VIDEOS AND LEARN ,, YA!! ME TOO.. GLAD YOUR WORKING INSIDE WARM,,.. WE ARE TRYING TO SEE WHAT YOUR BUILDING,, OK!! ITS COMING TOGETHER A MONSTER TRUCK.. WELDING PROTECT YOUR EYES.. GREAT VIDEO,...!!
lol I would love to make videos of me working on my car but I cuss too much 😂 I have yet to hear you even make a slip of an “ah damn!” Love watching your content!
Your front coils need a rubber cushion between the top of the coil and the bucket. It'll bang creek and squeek without it. It adds lift too. That's where they add for leveling kits
What a cool old truck! It's coming together nicely. I believe the headlight distance looks good, but the passenger side looks lower than the driver side. What an awesome resto-mod!
I watch the channel from the UK and I love the channel. Don't know if this is what you'd call 'Red Neck Truck Building 101' or if that is an insult but I think it is great to watch. More please.
I know it's not finished yet, but this is going to be an awesome-looking truck when it's all finished. Keep the Cadillac headlights too, they look great on those wide fenders.
I like the headlights. maybe reinforce the front frame more, I would because I may push something or hit something lol. I like it though whatever you do with it, it's cool.
Good evening from Cape Cod 🦈 I really like your vision for this truck. The Diamond T is definitely one of my favorite trucks. Keep up the great work and the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲
"Zoosk it"...."Plasma zoosk it".....That's how we do it here in Arkansas. 😁 She looks good, the headlights look great! The whole truck is gonna be awesome!
I agree with the retired auto engineer and think that the headlights need to move 2-3 inches out from center. I owned a metal fab shop back in the day and you would have fit right in and been a cherished lead guy. You git er done and have mad skills fueled by confidence. Rock on.
Excellent work and thanks for the nice video, I won't say anything about the audio and the shots, but if you want you can buy a portable microphone, or do as usual, I watch your videos anyway, I'm waiting for the third part if you do it , otherwise the next job with Acetone and transmission fluid.
You are brave, my friend. There is no way in hell that I would have the guts to take on a project like this with the tools that you have. I'm impressed. If you can do this with none of the right tools, I look forward to seeing what you are capable of when your channel grows and you have the proper tools.
Ok what I would do for curving the running board. I would bend a small tube (say half inch) to match the shape I want, I'd weld it underneath the sheet metal. Then I would hammer the edge of the sheet metal half half way around the tube. This would be much easier, stronger and better looking. Just my opinion 😊

This truck will be just like a small version of the truck in the movie duel
@@evan9306Cool. I like that movie and that truck is wicked looking!
your husband is wrong ....
@@mikkei3532 It's just his opinions. Stop
When I was a carpenter, I refused to work for enginurds. You could never make them happy.
Definitely keep the big headlights They belong on that truck! That truck looks awesome! 👍
I agree
I love the headlights and the overall look of the truck. I'm a truck guy. I would rather drive a truck than anything else. It's beautiful!
The massive size of those fenders and running boards and front bumper needs massive headlights to go with them. Great choice! Loving how it's coming along.
That yeller bar is the most useful tool with no moving parts I have ever seen!
Keep doing what ur doing
Very skilled man
44 years in body work
Very satisfying work
I'm a model railroader and I built an old Diamond T flatbed truck for my railroad. Love your videos. Cheers from eastern TN

Those Diamond T trucks are great looking trucks.

You are one smart cookie and definitely in your element! Thank you for bringing us along for the ride.
absolute gem of a channel, I pity anyone who hasn't found your videos yet

I’m good leaving them where they are. However, moving them out a couple of inches might give the truck a more balanced look.
Amazing job! Great show!
After a hard day, it fun to see you putting these old trucks back together. I think I can hear the crickets in the background imagining you’re working on this in the evening. Great work! Greetings from Marietta Ga!
I love this build, it was great to see an update! Since you asked for our opinion, I vote for moving the headlights outwards 2-3 inches.
Really enjoy watching your videos! Can't wait to see were this series goes - I personally think the lights look great and I'm imagining the whole will be one awesome monster of a truck!
Big lights - big truck. Proportions look right. I love your projects and your timeline mimics my own :D Keep up the good work.
Well i'll be 2 videos in less than a week, hell yeah!!!
Yeah trying to get back on schedule with at least 1 video a week hopefully two
@jenningsmotorsports7554 fantastic bud from one wrencher to another keep it up. I recently saw there was a article written up about your channel so you're on the right track.
I said the same thing, love the straight forward approach to everything. Gone are the days where vehicles can be fixed.
I like how you did this one, less time with the camera in hand and more time of you in frame doing and explaining things. Keep it up!
Morning Mr. Jennings, what some people don't seem to understand is the time & fixturing it takes to do this type of build....great job!!
Keep the projects going!!!!
She’s is looking great brother . Look forward to seeing her driving
Lol. This is gonna look so bad ass when you are done. This was very creative.
I love the big headlights, they’re the perfect distance from the grill too

Seeing the notification just put a smile on my face
Leave the headlights out. I think it looks good like that. That's definitely a dream truck for me
The truck looks incredible!! The Cadillac lights are so AWESOME!!! I’m totally fired up for the Diamond truck build!! It’s also really good to see more videos, thank you!!!
This is like the Jeepers Creepers truck!!
I like the headlights in closer to the grill.
Been waiting 11months for the “next Monday” as mentioned in last video of this build 😂🤣
It's been so long since you posted a video on this project I forgot all about it. Glad to see you working on it again.
That truck is gonna be the coolest thing on the road!
I was just wondering about that truck just this morning. You do great work. Alabama is a big fan.
Awesome build!! Need more of this and the AAR Cuda!
Headlights look good maybe two inches wider. Sheet metal work is great!
I dig those headlights. Maybe a little closer to each other.
big headlights are awesome! i'd leave them where they are, seems to work well as is.

damn, the springs coming down and the creaking was scary! Amazing how you do this by yourself. Can't wait to see her driving out the garage!
Love the headlights, truck is awesome.

I saw the Cuda sitting over there!
That car went from firewall to almost completed in 30 days and now it's going to take a year for the last 2 hours it'll take to finish
Headlights are good where they are. Nice to see a shop video, as well as more frequent videos!
This is about the coolest build I can imagine. What a way to update this beautiful old Diamond T.
I like the head lights closer to the grille. Gives it more of that Capone gangster look ya’know.
I can see some cuda in the background. Don’t give up on her son!
Wow this is going to be a heck of a truck when it’s done😁😁👍👍
Great video Great channel great build 😊 cool 😎🆒
Awesome part 2 on the diamond T, making some good progress with the sheet metal and those nice BIG head lights 👍👍
Love this build!!! The big lights look great where they are too.
This is my favorite channel...
That is going to be a beautiful truck!
thanks for bringing back some of the other stuff back.. i like the lights in the center
Diamond in the rough LOVE IT and keep the huge headlights.
Keep the headlights for sure, you might wanna move them out just a little more rather than in but overall that beast is looking tough!
looks fantastic you have nailed the look ......
The only reason I clicked on the video is because I could see the Cuda in the background.😁😁😁
I miss the Cuda!

That's gonna be an awesome-looking truck when it's done. Keep 'em comin'.
Trucks where really Trucks back then
Great video as always! You're doing an amazing job! Thanks for bringing us along 😊
Looking great i would fit headlights equil between hood and outside of fender , it looks odd close to the hood .cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 😂
