I live in Albuquerque and your story warmed my heart. Bowie is a representation of how perfect all our rescue dogs are in our shelters. Please adopt them. They're waiting patiently for their forever homes.
I would adopt however, most of the dogs at the shelter in my area are pit bulls or pit bull mix. Also, the adoption process takes way to long. When you are on a list someone else might get the dog you waited on the list for.

If the channel (who is not the guy from the video) inserted a quick clip of a similar looking dog appearing sad at home because the guy didn't have footage like that of Bowie but it helped tell the story, you can debate whether they should do that or not, but there's no ill intent and it doesn't make anything in the guy's story a lie.

For millenia human societies have lived in cooperation or harmony with animal and plant species. The industrial age and the information technology age have made us all misfits in our own ancient ecosystems.
