Those last notes... Goosebumps! Had the privilege of seeing her performance a few days ago in Buenos Aires. I was a little disappointed she didn't sing Nella Fantasia. That was fast forgotten after an amazing (sublime, magnificent, unforgettable) Phantom of the Opera delivery. To top it all, she gifted us with four encore songs. Bravissima!

Even though I can't speak Italian, I just love hearing her sing her music in Italian. That's what makes it so special that really add and magnifies the true culture and life of this music. It sounds so romantic. As everyone knows and can agree, the life of the music would be gone, lost if it weren't sung in Italian. That's my honest opinion. That's what people expect to hear with this beautiful music. But the good thing is that many of her music is sung in English that fits perfectly for portraying the true meaning and feeling of the music. But this one, like many others, fits perfectly sung in Italian.

Opera fans who are used to beautiful voices produced properly, unlike the reedy sound of Sarah. Opera fans who have heard this melody, which is ripped from Bizet's Pearl Fishers and Carmen, in much more exquisite renditions.
I have friends who actually do go the opera and they do take umbridge with la brightmans technique..But I have started listening to Opera through 'popera'like this and i am guessing a lot of people are the same.
