Went to a spurs Q and A in Dublin in February/March 2020 just before lockdown, ledley answered questions for hours in a huge room of Tottenham fans, the event ended at around 11pm , ledley said he was on the first flight back to London in the morning, he stayed up with the spurs fans having a few drinks till 3am just talking to the fans like we would to eachother , one of the most down to earth men I’ve ever met and a proper footballer and overall a proper good man, Oh Ledley Ledley, he’s only got one knee…..

Y'know what. I'm a gunner and I've got far more time for Ledley King than i do for Sol Campbell. He's got humility, grace and loyalty and after seeing my team losing Ashley Cole in the same way as Sol, I respect Ledley a lot because he could've easily followed Ashley more than once to Chelsea.

Watching him play, you wouldn’t know he was suffering from his knee injury every single second he was playing. A man who never trained but only show up to play the games. An absolute baller. All the England managers were desperate to get him in their squad despite knowing the risk it could be. Take away the injuries, he would’ve been in the same conversations as Terry, Ferdinand etc.
I love you guys, knowledgeable and entertaining, what more do you need? What an excellent guest aswell, you probably got more from him than professional interviewers. He seemed at ease and had just a great mindset. Easily the best Spurs defender of the EPL era.
