As the father of an almost 13 year-old girl, this case hits harder than others. As men, it's our job to protect our household, to show our sons how they are supposed to treat women and show our daughters the standard for how they should expect to be treated by men. The easiest way to model this behavior is how we treat their mother. I'm truly disgusted that this little girl never had a chance in life. It's just not fair and it's a story that is all too common. May everyone who failed Madeline be held accountable, here and in any hereafter.

My Mother knew. She would say she didn't. But she was physically abusive to me long before she found her pedophile husband. My stepfather. I was abused for 7 yrs by him. Finally, an old man from a church who rented to my mother called DHS and said he believed i was being harmed. He had no clue what he did. He was shocked to find out the horror that was my childhood and he believed God told him to fight for me. So many souls saw my body broken and soul depleted they did nothing and if anyone noticed I was moved fast.
My heart breaks for her. The people who want pedophilia to be accepted in society have NO idea what survivors have truly survived.
They couldn't, or they would never ask us to accept them in society. It's grotesque, and it's depleting.

Didn’t say much. But I just remember seeing her facial skin glisten. Which was abnormal. My aunt always had her real clean but they had picked her up from her bio moms. Had another cousin. Over sized clothing, black clothing, red cheeks, chopped male haircut. Identifying as lesbian at a young age. Head down. Quiet. She has bursts of anger. But the other one was younger and she her hair was kinky and greasy and I wish I would of known the signs. Bags. Either real happy or real sad. Quiet. Hides. I don’t like when people refer to victims being assaulted as “having sex.” That is not sex and should never be compared as such. Sets a dangerous precedent.
The “dad” looked high to me, more than anything. Now I see the mother again she has pinpoint pupils and looks like she might abuse some sort of substance as well.
They were together for three years “on and off” so he was abusing her the entire time they were together. The conversation with all the lawyers was weird, I don’t know why it was so focused on the parents, nothing about the child. They were all very crass about it. I hope it’s not a preview of how this will be reported. She JUST turned 13, it started when she was 11, she was a child and there was nothing consensual about anything that happened to her.

    @EuropaThePirateTwin3 8 месяцев назад +13

This hit very close to home. My father abused me when I was 8 until I was 10. I told my mam and she kicked him out straight away. Our whole world came crashing down. It took me 20 years to realise that he was not sorry, was blaming my mother (the f***ing audacity) and that he would do it again if given the chance- and he nearly got that chance with another woman who had a young girl.
I could write a book about the crappy way it was handled- yes, in 2001 in Ireland my mother was told by the Gardaí nothing would be done about it unless I, a 10 year old child, wanted to press charges, and she was told by psychologists that my father could move back in with us and we could go back to being a normal family. I thank God that it happened before smartphones were around, because it's awful to think of people recording child abuse and then (in most cases) selling it to other pieces of s**t.
In 2021 I brought him to court. He got 8 years, of which he'll do about 5. He pleaded guilty (there was historical records from counselling), yet I still had to sit there with my family and listen to his defence claim that I "wanted it".
Still to this day my mother will not and has not brought another man into our house. I'll be moving out soon (yes, I'm 32 but we have a housing crisis and on top of that I have anxiety, depression and P.T.S.D), and I don't want to leave my mother alone after all we've been through.
People who can't fathom how a parent wouldn't know- paedophiles are sneaky pieces of s**t. And it would be very difficult to imagine the person you love would do that to his own daughter. My father was absolutely stupid, but he was thoroughly cunning. That's in my case though, but looking at the mother in this one, it strikes me as a rehearsed statement in her interview. She says "We dropped her off" then it turns to "he dropped her off". There's something off about her, and I wonder if she really did know, if she had an idea but ignored the signs, or if he spun her a lie about him being the first person they'd look at and then he couldn't help the mother.... something like that? Either way, he deserves death.
Paedophiles should be killed. They don't stop being paedophiles. They will push further and further and will never be satisfied. There is no redemption for them. They are a waste of space and money, and children deserve to be protected from them. They destroy lives.
Rest in peace, Madeline. You deserved so much better than this 💖

Don't you agree? I assume what you mean is that every penetration is sex, but we are far more advanced in linguistics and morals to simplify it like that. Some mothers tell everyone that their daughter is lying and take her husband’s side. Some mothers do this more than once… It started around age 3-4 and I was lucky enough to get “too old for him” before I got to Madeline’s age and suppressed the worst of the memories. My little sister ended up destroying her life over the abuse, I guess she wasn’t as skilled at dissociating as I was/am. She committed several felonies at age 14 so she was sent to a girls juvenile center. Once there, she reported it, and my mother was told that she would have to separate physically from her husband to allow my sister to come home. She chose to have her sent elsewhere. Last I heard, my sister was in and out of jail and homeless with at least one child that had been taken away from her by the state. I feel so so sorry for poor Maddie. 😢 She didn’t deserve the abuse she endured. No girl does. The mother is 100% complicit.

again, Jennifer’s early reports were that Madeline was picked up and taken to school.
This was a big deal for me because at that time we didn’t know if he lived with Jennifer and Maddie or not and after it was revealed, he lived in the apartment it seemed everyone dropped the phrase he picked Madeline up. I think it’s huge.

My first thoughts when I saw the picture of Madeline (the one with her monstermodder): this girl was abused for some time. Look at her eyes, you can see the pain and they are baggy,.. probably from lack of sleep and exhaustion,.. her smile is forced and sad. Poor little girl, my heart breaks. The dirtbag boyfriend should be under the prison already, so does the “whatchemecallit”… I don’t call her mother, she doesn’t deserve that titel. There is NO way she didn’t know there was something going on. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤮

I was raised by my great grandmother. Her baby brother came to stay for two weeks twice a year. He was a Korean War vet. And always wore vet apparel. He would abuse me when he was there. I never said a word. He was the only family my great grandmother really had left. I could not break her heart like that. She sat me down one day, took my hands into her very delicate, arthritis riddled hands, and asked me, “If anyone ever messes with you, or has, you know I am your safety don’t you?” I said “of course I do grandma, I would tell you if it were so.” She hugged me and told me how much she loves me. I just COULD NOT break her heart. Not when I was 4, not when I was5,6,7,8, and all the way up to 14. I couldn’t. I don’t believe she ever knew. But she made sure I knew she cared. And that something so big mattered. But to me, she mattered more. Kids suffer, and stuff down the pain and hurt for their parents sake. I told after she passed when I was 14 years old. Police interviewed me ONE time. DCF interviewed me ONE time. That was it. I was humiliated. And forgotten. No one cared. State of Florida let me down. I have an aversion to military and vets now. Not because of them personally. But because it dredges up so much within. I feel guilty about that because I should always be happy to see or meet military members. It’s personally devastating. I’ve never told anyone about reliving traumas every time I am around them.

The young girl could have been saved if the mother would have stepped up to protect her daughter. This is going on in so many homes.
