  • "My dear friends, as you know, our current journey is with Prophet Moses, peace be upon him. While preparing for this great story, something truly remarkable caught my attention that I wanted to share with you. In this part of the story, I reached a point that is literally happening in beloved Palestine today. When Prophet Moses challenged Pharaoh, many of the Children of Israel followed him, having endured years of oppression and enslavement. After losing the challenge to Prophet Moses, Pharaoh retaliated by killing the magicians and the wives and children of the Children of Israel. What he was doing was collective punishment because they had dared to stand up to his tyranny and oppression. Doesn't this remind you of what is happening today?
When the oppression increased, the Children of Israel complained to Prophet Moses as mentioned in the noble verses of Surah Al-A'raf. He told them to be patient, saying that the entire earth belongs to God and He will give it to the righteous among His servants. They replied, 'We were already oppressed before you brought the message, and now the oppression and tyranny have increased tenfold.' Isn't this what is happening today as collective punishment simply because they demanded their rights?
Prophet Moses then told them, 'God will destroy your enemy and grant you the land, and you will see what you do.' This is the good news from God. The trial has intensified, but relief is near, God willing. History is recorded for us to learn from, and the stories of the prophets are the greatest of stories. They are mentioned for us to learn from the past, apply it to the present, and understand our future. The victim of the past is Pharaoh today. And the Lord of the universe still keeps His promise. So never stop praying, for this is the weakest of faith and victory is near, God willing."
In essence, the text draws a parallel between the historical events of Prophet Moses and the Children of Israel and the current situation in Palestine. It highlights themes of oppression, resistance, and hope, offering encouragement and reassurance to those facing similar challenges.
