The pan/pot is a nabe pot. The hole is for steam to escape. “Neko nabe” is a Japanese meme of cats sleeping in those specific pots
Awww i bought the cat licca chan set while in Japan earlier this month! I think it was about $6-7 US (1100 yen) edit: the bottom of the food containers go onto barbie tables or shelves that have the holes to fix on plates cup or even some foods. Also use sticky tabs or dots to keep the fish in place
the weird little pegs on barbie accessories do go to playsets, i noticed them on grocery store playset, the shelfs have the kind of slots those go in and all the produce have the same pegs on the bottom. i really hate the look of them but i suppose it’s useful for not have things constantly fall over during play
The Barbie set is basically a kitty fish murder set lol and the detail of the nose and mouth under the calico kitten is sooo precious. They’re awesome for adding that.
Love the video! I appreciate you saying that a bowl isn't acceptable for fish, I used to have fish and I hate seeing things like that in toys and tv.
There's a 'Barbie Kitty Condo' playset that came out last year that includes a doll, five cats of various ages/sizes, a cat tree even more out of scale than this one, and a few additional accessories. Every time I go to Target I think about picking one up, but so far it hasn't happend.
The best cat we have is a Hashimoto Mio cat capsule toy from Japan, It was a blind box from a toy store in NYC I think, and second best is a PVC 3D cat puzzle. They are both the proper size for a fashion doll but of course the puzzle has visible lines and weird colored stripes, and the Mio cat is sculpted in a sort of woodblock effect but it's not shiny so it works. Then we have a beautiful BJD Eve Studios cat purchased in a moment of madness that cost as much as rent on my first apartment and is too large for 1:6 but too small for 1:3. Actually I need to look at it next to a Glitter Girl since I got one with a playset. I've never seen a flocked cat any better than the Licca-chan. I wonder how the cat tree fares next to the Barbie kitten playset cat tree.
They are very cute, especially the flocked kitties. I don't do playsets though and wish they just had pet sets with nothing else. Thank you for the review Sweetie :)
I have several rement cats and the licca Chan cats remind me of those. They are beautiful! I even have a rement kitty in a pan like that. I would love to get the licca set for my displays!

That fish bowl would honestly drive me crazy too! With tiny accessories that I want to stay up I use blu-tac or poster putty. The fish might stay up a little better if you stick some on the bottom of the stars. Defo here for the tiny fish though!! They are so cute!! 🥺
Some of the Barbie sets have a moldable sand, you could leave out the plastic sand piece and set the star down into a sand or dough or air dry clay, of course it could be a different color too as substrates come in all colors.

My mom had various doll sized figures that I have been using as pets for my Barbies. Also, Fryda looks so much better with her hair down. I added more waves to her hair.
The weird bottom on the Barbie accessories is so that you can put them on a Barbie playset. Most of the newer players have holes that those bottoms fit into so that they don't fall off. I appreciate the holes most of the time but they can be annoying if I want to display like my rement accessories or zuru stuff in the barbie kitchen counter or tables. 😂
I think the pan is like a box in japan because in japan they have big pans
I love the cat playsets.I think Victoria and Cleo looked precious holding theirs. I do wish the cat tree was bigger, or had expansion sets.

I made a lil aquarium out of doll packaging for one of my girls, I could tag you in a picture if it on twitter if you wanna see it, it only seemed appropriately sized for 1 fish thou

The cat pan is a cat toy. The flocked feather thing probably sticks in the hole on it.
I have the real Littles micro pets for Barbie they are realistic sizes for her and natural colors but with fun bright accessories
