You have one of those rigid chairs which are cool and modern. May I make a suggestion? I have had both manual chairs and rigid chairs. From my experience the lighweight manual chairs are so much easier to take apart which allows for easy and fast transfer. They're not all ugly, Quickie makes stylish ones.

Hi, I’m not sure I’m understanding what you are saying. I have a TiLite AeroZ, and I was under the impression that is a lightweight manual chair!

Hi Joci, I am a paraplegic too and i hav tilite TI frame. I saw in your chair somethings which must be taken off if you are not using them ,
it will make your chair extremely light and you would feel more cozy and independent . if you have got a new chair by now, we could do the same in it, just getting rid of parts we dont use and they are still attached to the frame (since the beginning).
let me know if you want to know that, i can you tell you the procedure to go about it.

Where can I find one of the wheelchairs like that? I used to put my standard wheelchair into the back seat but can no longer get to the driver seat afterwards so I'm guessing I'd need on Chair I can take apart like that

To be completely honest, I haven't worn anything other than tennis shoes or uggs since the lockdown... :p I could definitely make a video where I transfer with different types of shoes on though!!
