@ yeah I remember you saying it’s to get you thru to the 308 comes in. Yeah that’s one pro the 315 next gen. On our bigger machines the 315 next gen is the first one with out a big ass so we are just used to the counter balance. We got 3 20 ton machines the 313 and 315 taken their jobs. The one pc220 is just a breaker machine only now then the Volvo 20 ton and the link belt and the new 320 just sit around the yard. They all earned their keep except the 320 next gen she’s yet to be on a job just a yard machine.
@ half the business does pretty large paving jobs real big parking lots and we get a ton of millings between that and the us on the utility side dumping spoils we need a big yard machine to load out dirt and millings and concrete about once every other week unfortunately our yard isn’t in a spot where we can just keeping pushing it off we gotta haul out. The 320 ended up going to the smaller yard then we got an old 345 we are back to using as the yard machine. I don’t think that things been on a job 10 yrs that makes quick work of loading out the piles that’s for sure. Still a tight old machine got over 10000 hrs on it and it’s still tight as can be never had pins or bushings done that’s a cat quality machine there.

You liking the 313? We use our 315 next gen and 313 paired together on a lot of jobs. We use them more than the 320 next gen.
This 313 is a rental. I like it. Out in the open not worrying about your ass end it’s nice. Chad loves his 315 though.

You can get a GPS laser on your boom magnetized for 400 bucks. Saves a guy from getting out of the excavator.

Do you guys use gps to layout your foundations or any particular way?
I prefer the engineer comes and lays it out for us. Takes the liability off of us.
