Sean, it was great to see you at the Greenwood village REI, I was the one who pulled out of the checkout line to say Hi, always love your gear reviews. Keep going.
Hey buddy!! Made my day meeting you! My wife was super stoked too. Thank you so much for the support! ❤️🙌
I just tried one on at a local store on Fort Cavazos PX. Fell in love. Lots of colors, light weight and very functional.
Heck yes! It’s a great jacket. Hope you enjoy it!
My favorite jacket. it’s got a hidden pocket on the left arm under logo.
Great review buddy! Thanks for showing all the features
Any time!
Hey man, great video as usual. I rely on alot of your unbiased reviews before purchasing. Recently started buying Kuhl for shirts, pants and hats. I live in NY and need warm garments for the winter. Hope you can start reviewing Kuhl products more frequently; great new Aktivator Fleece Full zip and some really good merino wool hats may be worth considering for review. I don't work for Kuhl, just a customer and fan of your channel passing on information for the public. Keep up the good work sir.
Thank you so much for the kind note! I really appreciate that. Glad you are digging the KUHL gear. I love their stuff. I have reviews on a few dozen of their items and more on the way :) I have not used the Aktivator yet, so I will have to look into that!
When I did try this jacket out it reminded me a light sweater that you'd normally use in 50 degree weather. I will have to by and try in colder weather to test myself.
Very KUHL!
The KUHLest :)
I’ve got some Kuhl jackets in my cart right now but can’t find any video reviews on them (activator, deflektr). This review was helpful, might need to grab one of these jackets as well.
Happy to be of service my friend! KUHL gear works well. Fits athletic people well. Looks good. And lasts. I am not paid to say any of that 😆. Just my honest opinion. Hope you enjoy the gear!
👍
🙌
The mesh armpits seems like a no brainer. I have never understood why there aren’t more jackets with armpit venting.
100% 🙌
How does the one compare to the aero fleece?
God question! I have not used the Aero fleece yet. As soon as I do I can get back to you on that!
Is it loud and swishy?
Not really. The Nylon is pretty quite. Not as quite as a fleece, but not loud.
@@Engearment k thanks
What pants do you have on this video?
Patagonia Stormstride. Heck I am wearing them today to play in the snow! ruclips.net/video/1AtkATutdfs/видео.html
looks great and want one but why do these companies keep making these breathable jackets!? Please Stop!
You can tell a great company apart from others when they make products for themselves that they want for personal use & they listen to the customers. I hope they make a light weight rain jacket to wear over my spyfire when it's snowing or raining. Kuhl is always my 1st choice now for everything clothing. I'm about to go broke but at least I will be comfortable. Lol!
I hear you on that! Kuhl has always done what they want to and make things that help them (and others like them) enjoy life. They are my go to for clothing as 1) they fit my body well 2) look good 3) they function perfectly. Glad you can appreciate them as well my friend!
@@Engearment I 100% agree on that!
Great review! I too live in Colorado and was seeing if this would fit the bill.
I wanted to know if you were layering this jacket with a Patagonia thermal capilene base layer and this hoody over top; what are the lowest temperatures you'd think you could be comfortable with with static use?
I've been to lake granby in the winter and to steamboat springs and I also run cold but give off a lot of heat.
I could double up on a base layer under this jacket if I sized up and am interested with layering how low of a temperature you'd feel comfortable at?
Thanks!
Hey fellow Colorado friend!!
I like the base layer idea. If you run cold though, I think the 30s would be as much as I would recommend. I use it Wyer t shirt into the 20s often. But I love the cold. Lol.
