My son just returned from France and said he felt at home and wants to go back. My uncle was a tour guide in Paris from like the 1950s to the 80s.

Watching the live shows makes me so happy and I was ecstatic when you toured Canada again in 2022. .You guys were wonderful in Vancouver but somehow I think you really LOVE playing Knuckleheads. It comes across and is such a pleasure to watch and hear. They were a very lucky audience!

Ed Friedland, their bass player, recently left the band.
I love these guys so much. I have been following them for so long. Raul is amazing. He can sing about paint chips falling off the wall and it would be beautiful. I swoon, like a 16 year old girl, every single time that I listen to them. ❤😊❤🎉

You can hear Mr. Molina on this recording really well. I couldn't hear him at the concert. I love his part on Easy As It Seems and Mujer.
Next Tear Drop, a magnificent delivery of a song that many artists failed to deliver in tune and rhythm, The Maverick, delivered this song in perfect harmony and music orchestration that was perfectly timed.Loved it. the next song is very new to my ears, trying to locate the title Probably ''I should Have'' A beautiful song , exceptional lyrics, music that blends beautifully. He is so very well liked and confident in his voice. He is one of the worlds best.

I have listened to so much Maverick's music. I notice when a drummer is changed. Paul has a strength, a recognizable sound. Offcourse not every musician can be present at every show.Replacement musicians are great We just listen to much more than we should maybe. Good to see the original lineup. Certainly the lineup im aware of and love.See what i mean? That strength in drums is unmistakable. ♥️☘♥️

And Raul is playing bass, which for me is harder while singing than playing guitar. He's incredibly versatile. The musicianship in this group is criminally underrated!

Ed left about a month ago. No comments from anyone.
@@AniMerci Thanks. Without Raúl on rhythm guitar and Ed on bass, the sound of the band for this performance seemed perhaps a little thin. Everything else is primo, as usual.
I read that Ed Friedland didn't want to tour anymore, so he left the band.

After living in Austin for a good number of years, he currently resides in Tucson. I believe Raúl (and maybe other band members?) lives in Nashville. Am guessing Ed is in his 60s, and I know he writes books, lectures, and teaches. Can understand why he may not want to be on the road after eight years with The Mavericks.
@@dbduke88I agree they are missing the rhythm guitar. But still sounds great. I am seeing them in New York City at the end of July. Hopefully they have a new bass player by then.
