Amen. It stands out amongst the other King variants both in size and adornments, but it's also not over the top like the DW7 Red Hare; remaining true to its original design with some added flare. That said, I do think that it's a bit too large, but it's barely an issue.
Looking back from DW8, Lu Bu's actually the nicest he's ever been here. You could almost call him a good guy, a protagonist...if he hadn't...you know, murdered everybody else in his ending.
Hard disagree, that renbu system is something else...The only thing I'd say would be better than 9 are the character designs and to an extent the music but thats going to be a consistent thing with the franchise.

At the ending of Hu Lao Gate cutscene on 8:13 Lu Bu has killed all the most powerful enemies in the entire land. That's why Lu Bu is my favorite character of the entire series.
I still have no idea how his weapon work. Especially how he separate it into two and put them back together. Also I find it hillarious that he lower his voice when talking to Diao Chan 😅
The next character to get his upgrade to a Musou Officer should definitely be Chen Gong. He has some of the best lines in this scenario. And in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he was also pretty cool.
I can defeat Lu Bu with any character... I've done it sooo many times... but it still feels good... like i've done somthing no other officer has done lol
It’s actually really difficult to support someone like Lu Bu strategically. His might is one thing, but he is arrogant and rash. He’s not a good leader either, since he has such a temper and seldom heeds advice. That’s what led to his downfalls in history. You can only plan so much if you backup plans could upset your lord and possibly get you executed.

Yea it was definitely Meng Hou though because of where they sit at and they usually stay in their territory, which makes them "never seen before" enemies as they aren't implimented in the game (far as I remember) until I think empires or Xtreme legends
The first Dynasty Warriors game I played was DW5 :) I hated when he was in the battle, cause I always died :P He became my favorite character the first time I saw him(he was an enemy then) and I remember I got so happy when my brother told me he would be playable later in the game :)
if he was so bored and eager to fight more, he should've gone outside of china, like what alexander the great did for his campaign. then lu bu would've gotten as much action as he could ever want! XD hahahahaha!

nope. Jin created by sima yi. But in this story sima yi and cao cao aready dead. so There is no Jin dynasty in this story. Maybe another kingdom outside China....
@SGoldSSilver The same could be said to other warriors during those times. Guan Yu, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao..... Lu Bu is no different from any of them in actual history, but his exploits in ROTK turned him into the legend we know today.
It would be interesting if Chen gong character design are mix of Sima Yi and zhuge liang like using feather weapon and the costume like Sima Yi Will make lu bu team more epic

After getting a HUGE Screen Time for an NPC in DW6, Chen Gong is FINALLY Playable in DW8 XL.
Best decision Koei made for DW6 was to make Lu Bu armor black. Absolutely fitting for him.

What a strategist needs to do when working with Lu Bu is that you need to incorporate his aggressiveness and brashness into your strategies.

Meng Huo is actually playable on DW6: Empires and Shin Sangoku Musou 5 Special (Dynasty Warriors 6 But For PSP) but only for PSP and only in Japan.

The first Dynasty Warriors game I played was DW5 :) I hated when he was in the battle, cause I always died :P He became my favorite character the first time I saw him(he was an enemy then) and I remember I got so happy when my brother told me he would be playable later in the game :)
