If he's innocent why was his friend the star witness who helped him bury the victim and said he felt guilty to the point of wanting to X himself?
They have a witness who knew where the body was and what she was wearing and he testified against his friend Syed. Who called him "Pathetic" as he took the stand.

Most defendants don't testify at trial and his attorney wouldn't allow him. He's definitely innocent. Even the cell phone records that the cases relied heavily upon were proven to be inaccurate. They built their case around the cell phone records but their timeline doesn't add up and Adnan wasn't with his phone most of the day.

    "Justice delayed, Justice not done."
This dude was framed and lost best 22 years of his youthful life, the racist asian mother only saw his colour wanted him to end up in prison. Truth was by doing so the victims family made sure the criminal be free for last 20 plus year and the worst part of the case is Adnan was charged even when his guilt wasn't proven beyond reasonable doubt. He should sue the government for 10s of millions of dollars, it will be still be not enough but at least he will have a comfortable life here onwards and address the trauma he had to go through.

I'm kinda blown away by all the fandom and support this guy is getting based on a podcast. I mean, they literally have a witness who helped bury the victim and saw her body in the trunk of Syed's car. _To this day_ he still stands by his testimony. While he supports a new trial for Syed he said he doesn't know how he can ever explain why her body was in the trunk.
Can anyone who has followed this case enlighten me to that?

This is a very emotional time of the year for the world, Syed, and his family. The things he must've done to pass the time in that rotting prison is just beyond imagination. The US has yet again proved it is incompetent in every sphere. The country's legislation is a joke and the jurisdiction doesn't make any sense. Wrongly convicting a person for 23 years isn't a misdemeanor.
