You do the best content on places I would like to go but cannot afford, and on the things I would like to have but will never be able to afford! Plus, your attitude is so chill. Thanks for what you do.
It's great to see you unable to wipe that smile off your face, two of your favorite things combined into one! The Yachts on one side and motorsports on the other, keep up the great work!
We all know how much you love cars. I think we can excuse you mixing them in with the superyachts at an important time as the Monaco GP. Great video. Nicely done.
Have watched numerous of eSysman episodes, which are all quite good, but this F1 episode was exceptional. I am a F1 fan since nearly 50 years, even attending the Monaco race in 1978 and numerous others since then. Never miss a televised race. All the F1 information given in this video was well informed and correct in all senses plus the additional Super Yacht coverage was terrific. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you! Of special interest to me was the price to moor a yacht as I owned a small 14 meter sailing boat in the Med during the late 70-80's and was able to moor in the Monaco Harbor twice in the months of June. I remember being tied up alongside a large yacht at the time and my boat felt so small. In the 80's the price was not per meter, but gross tonnage which converted into a real bargain 2 night stay for me in Monaco. A
A good insight, great to see you out and enjoying yourself so much! Most of the F1 teams have 5 or 6 sets of "standard" equipment that bounces around the world doing specific races, with one set usually staying in Europe most of the season. The "critical" stuff (cars/tools/spares etc) will go to every race. I've driven race transporters into Monaco several times, but it's interesting to see the place from another perspective. (Ex F1 logistics coordinator here)
First time watching, now a subscriber. Fascinating video presented with such a relaxed and easy style. Thank you for sharing such an interesting world attending a fabulous event. I learned so much and look forward to joining you on the next video!
Monaco, been there before, just not race week. Definitely on my bucket list! M/Y Loon did a live feed this morning of them docking in Monaco- it was even more deserted! The only downside was that they were stuck outside the marina for three hours waiting to be cleared to enter.
@@Buddy869-z9x Just a complete guess, but Captain Paul said it will get busier tomorrow, they were early. It might just be that Monaco was giving the port workers a long weekend before it gets really busy, so the smaller team made it take longer.
You are 1 lucky guy to not only do the job that you do ( see the world ) but also to walk the streets of Monaco 🇲🇨 living the dream 🏎️🏎️🏎️ let’s hope for another British 🇬🇧 win 👍🏼🏁
This is my favorite weekend of the year for motor racing. I will be watching the Indy 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix. Thanks for the preview. I hope you are going to be there for the race.
Hello E SYSMAN & Friends: Thank you guys for another great video. Monaco is such a classy venue that you guys fit in with your superb coverage. Thank you again, & God Bless to all. TMP from N.J
Such a great buzz in the air! Thanks for this awesome look!! And although it won't tip the scales much... 'Sailing Yacht A' is beautiful to me!😅 Hadn't known Philip Stark, what a variety from 'Wedge Too' and both 'A' yachts! Very cool. Thanks again!!
Wow that Salmson 1931 Rally so nice. My grandfather came 2nd in the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island. Bugatti won it but his Salmson was quite fast capable of averaging 100 mph on dirt track. He competed in the F1 in 1932. Geoffrey Disher.
I did the Monaco F1 twice as Chief Engineer. I was on a charter boat one year and we had Marlboro/Ferrari as our guests. I met Michael Schumacher. An arrogant German. It was fun to walk the track in the evening but a lot of work to move the boats out to the security distance and back every day. Great video, brings back memories.
Was never a fan of Schumacher's. I always considered him a cheater after watching him intentionally try to knock Villeneuve out of the European GP in '97. Now, hearing what he did in Monaco, affirms my opinion.
I have been to Monaco for two grand prixs a couple decades ago and it was always exciting to see the large Yachts and rich and famous enjoying themselves. Naturally, we stayed on the Italian riveria side and came over to Monaco each day.
My favourite race of the year! I love watching all the boats arriving in port throughout the week. Looks like Octopus is in moored in Denmark so don't think it's showing up this weekend! Great video as usual! Keep up the great work and have an amazing weekend!
Just came back from Finale, up the coast from Monaco, and your video took me straight back… warm and sunny, amazing people watching and obscene wealth.. 😎
Just starting to watch this video but have to comment on your Big Smile. Fantastic. I'm perfectly happy to see and hear about the F1 Grand Prix. You can film the yachts anytime. Edit! This was great... I'd forgotten just how much I enjoy the dock walking and the commentary. It's interesting to me that the designer of Motor Yacht A and Sailing Yacht A has a yacht for himself which I think is attractive. I wonder how much he was "following the design wishes" of whomever ordered them. Do you know if he designed the one he owns? I hope you get to spend a ton of time walking around, looking at everything, and talking with friendly people. In beautiful weather, of course ✨️🌟✨️
Thanks for sharing another great vid. My daughter works on motor Yacht Loon and they just arrived there. It must be quite exciting to be there as they prepare for F1
The Loon Vlogs, and drone footage are Awsome! and a must to watch. The crew, and the guests, are so lucky to have such 5***** top cuisine prepared by that gorgeous head chef, Nina Wilson, and all supervised perfectly, by Captain Paul Clarke. Luv that Loon!
My goodness how its changed. In the late 90's I had my little 36 foot Fairline in the harbour for the GP on the Riva pontoon which is where the GP paddock used to be. I kind of knew the guys that worked there and asked if I could tie up there for the GP weekend.. Most of the beautiful Riva classics were not put in the water until June so there was plenty of space. Not these days !!!
I’ve been there for the F1 race week and love your inside insight. It’s a magical place and my favorite place for going to a race to be up close with everything. Enjoy the week and weekend!
I fell in love with you 5 years ago. Your pain is my pain. I'm 81 and have lived a good life, much of it vicariously through your adventures over the past 7 seasons. I ride motorcycles, still, and have done so for 65 years. I've been down, too often, as almost everyone who rides has. I've never been in as much emotional pain as I am now with your injuries. If there is a supreme being, let him/her watch over you. I'm counting the days until your return. PS. I wish I could read Dutch.
I was fortunate to attend the Monaco GP 2 years ago watching from a 50 metre yacht in the middle of the marina, we were small!! But it was one of the most amazing experiences ever.
M/Y Loon. Would love for you to drop by and say hey. You can’t tell me some of the Loon crew don’t know who you are and with 266K subscribers, I’d say they do. Frankly, if Loon crew know Victoria and Rico from Nautistyles, they have to know you! Crash into harbor….John Franhenheimer’s 1966 masterpiece “Grand Prix” with James Garner has a car flying over hay bales into the water. The documentary on the movie is terrific and shows the day they filmed the crash into the water and how they did it. Bonus…James Garner goes ballistic at a local Monaco official. JK Charleston.
The value of all the superyachts , the value of all the supercars riding around, the value of all the racing cars and equipment. Then entertainment and food. The mind boggles at the total amount of money that is being flashed around
3:52 How can you just flit past one of the most interesting yachts (and my favourite yacht since she was launched) Yes I am THAT old! MY Zeus, ex enigma, Katana and originally Eco. She may be small by modern standards, but I’d cope with that. She may have a gas turbine, that never really performed as well as hoped. She still built by the Germans finest yard, to an amazing shape, and yes, I’d do my very best to talk myself aboard for a little looksee! Maybe one day a video on her, and her history / design would make fantastic viewing. Other than that oversight, a great video as always. 👍🏽😁
It would be nice to have a video on exactly what you explained to us about the tonnage and different construction of the ship! and also an explanation of what defines a category A boat
I have a cousin that lives in Monaco. Every year, during the Grand Prix, he and his wife head abroad (Singapore) for 2 weeks during this period. Horses for courses and all that.
The yacht Faith is currently owned by Michael Latifi, who's son Nicholas is also a F1 driver. As you mentioned, Lawrence Strolls son is a F1 driver as well.
Lionheart is one boat I would have been happier not to have seen. You could have given that spot to show Loon. Now that is a beautifull boat (and crew) that is appreciated by thousands of dreamers, and it is at Monaco.
Catch up with Adrian Newey to discuss his new Oyster sailing yacht ⛵️. For someone who is capable of seeing air molecules he likely had some suggestions on the hull design.
My boss had a mooring in Monaco marina. For 2 weeks of the year he was kicked out, to make space for visiting boats for the GP. He used to take his boat to italy.
Reg reason/s for not exceeding 3000 gross tons when building a super yacht. All those emergency life boats mounted along the exterior profile would be killer on the design aesthetic. Love the, live for, the line.
Bandini was my fav driver. One good came out of his crash at the pool. Race organizers realized that straw/hay bales were too dangerous on a course. Driver safety became an issue as had spectator safety after the Mercedes inferno!
@@louispaparella5766 The safety available in F1 cars today almost boggles the mind. I've seen crashes I thought there was no possibility of anyone living through, where there wasn't much left of the car but a cockpit with a few small hangers on bits, and then the guy get out and WALK AWAY.

Thank you for taking us to Monaco. Love the racing segment!
Yes! Huge thanks and he rocks that time of the year. 🎉🎉🎉🙏🙏🙏
You know you've made it when you have a tender that is a Ferrari !! Your two great passions, Motor Cars and Yachts.
Thank you for your Monaco GP videos, eSysman! I share your enthusiasm for cars as well as yachts and the GP weekend is on top of my bucket list. 😊
I have to say...I really do appreciate your videos. The quality of the work you do is absolutely fantastic. Thank you
Monaco!!! Can't wait to see the race and the yachts in the marinas.
I can't get over how knowledgeable you are. Amazing.
