Here it is 2022 and this will forever remain one of the best live performances ever, the level of enthusiasm, excitement, power and harmony the singers, the symphony and musicians have are truly memorable.

I had a bitter falling out with my old band mates many years ago, and then last weekend we all met up at one of the lads 30th Birthday party and played together again... all unplanned... it was amazing! It really does prove that time is a great healer... as is forgiveness and maturity! Life's too short for grudges!
Watching this performance after watching Robbie Williams on Netflix makes the moment even more precious and meaningful. You can see Robbie's emotion at the beginning, the fear of not making it which vanishes as soon as Howard starts singing with him. Gary Barlow's pride, Jason's smile, Mark Owen's joy and that liberating final yelling "YEAH", the happiness in their eyes when they look at each other, fihally togheter again as friends The worst was over, everything bad forgot and forgiven. A new life. A new beginning. The most beautiful friendship story ever written.
I like Robbie's strong, mature voice in this song. Take That wasn't what I was listening to, but you can hear here that they are talented. Most importantly, Robbie was happy.

I think they asked Robbie to join them because they still love him, and Robbie joined them because he still loves them. It's not financial reason but just love. They all proved that they can make money on their own.
You can watch other videos of them singing The Flood on European TV programs. The warm affection and the chemistry between Mark and Robbie is so touching.
