Birdo, I dunno if you're still doing lorethroughs, but I'd love to see a Thronebreaker one. Also the video description is genuinely funny. For some reasons I get really depressed playing mobile games. The only ones I like are those text-based RPGs.
I'm planning on a proper Thronebreaker video at one point, I just didn't want to do it right after this one for fear of people thinking I'm a Witcher channel again. 😅
God i still remember the time i had to wake up at 5am to go get a sword THAT WAS 5KM AWAY because the quest just refused to get closer. Really thought it would be a silver sword, imagine my sleepy dissapointment when i killed the golem and saw it was a steel sword that i would never use.
I still want to play the original Diablo-like version of The Witcher. And I'm still fascinated by the Adventure game that I apparently got for free on GOG at some point?
There are so many interesting off-branch Witcher games honestly - I wanted to talk about them all initially but it would've been too much for a single video.
Only video made by you, the one and only Jinzee 👸 would make me take interest in mobile game 😂 Not to mention actually click on YT notification.. Keep going Queen! ❤
Oh man. Witcher Monster Slayer was so much fun when it started. It motivated me to go for long walks during bad times of 2021. Then came the updates...
Isn't Thronebreaker on mobile? EDIT Oh, it's not an exclusive. Sorry, I'll be quiet until I've seen the video 😬 (I will of course not be quiet. I will comment spam like I always do.)
they could have easily tied the day night cycle to real time in a not 1 to 1 way so you have several days/nights per reasonable play session it could also be prompted. like if you want to fight a noonwraith you'd have to select when you would fight it, along with your other prep work, and then you would rest until that time before the encounter starts (thus removing the time of day as a limit to when you an play entirely) or just add a rest menu so you can target what time you want in game to be, regardless of what actual time it is although not really good, the wow questing get me 69 bear asses could be good enough filler content, easy to pump out, so the big quests get more dev time witchers can team up too, lore wise, so you can gamelogic a way that all players across the globe or region or faction can all contribute to a big encounter could even introduce choices matter gameplay and waring factions over territory, so you can help nilfguard in your neighborhood, or slay them whereever you can find. this could have been great tbh, i love hiking and a good game would just motivate me to do it more
4:30 All the idiots in charge of this creating this hot mess should've've been fired. They're now probably in charge of developing The Witcher 4, unfortunately.😣🙄
Man, every time.. can't watch your content without being bewitched. You are breathtakingly gorgeous. I apologize, if I don't say it I will regret it for the rest of my life. So again, I'm sorry if I'm being rude. With that out of the way... What? I had no clue about the MOBA game, never heard anything about it. I would've loved to play it. I didn't try the monster slayer one, it was not for me, but I did followed the drama 😅. Sadly, I knew it was bound to happen. Not trying to be the devil's advocate or anthing, but I really felt like (after the explosion from the success of W3WH and growth of the company) they decided to compite in many genres at the same time (which in part is not a bad move, in my opinion), but without much experience the bast majority it was going to fail, or at least in part. The market in those genres it's dominated by monsters who already balanced their games so they can scam you without being to obvious (most of the time). Like you said, I think they should've stayed with their strong suit, and focus in stories and quests. It could've lead to more memorable and unique moments for the players. And if you really want to compite in a new market, you should follow the example of RiotGames, those degenerates.. they have perfected the art of copying the format from a popular title and make it more "easy" for a quickly sell 😂.
Sentient Boulder? Somehow I suspect that that supporting character doesn't rock...I'll see myself out now. BTW are there any other notable fantasy series that you've thought about discussing in a video at some point? For example, so far today I've read the first 91 pages of The Blade Itself and am strangely bored despite The First Law trilogy having a reputation of making its readers feel like empty husks with how dark it is. Maybe it just takes a while to get going, but the fact that it's taking so long plus how dry the writing style feels at points kind of bothers me. I asked my sister a few days ago how cynical I was on a scale of 1-10 and she put me at a 9.6, so maybe I'm just not as affected by this book as much as others have been (granted that could easily change as the story progresses). What are some of the biggest problems with modern epic fantasy in your opinion?
Hate it when companies milk good series and make "games" just for the sake of money, especially mobile games which are usually cashgrabs and 100% always fail
What baffles me is that I think a LoL style game with Witcher characters CAN work, if done right. That is the important part tho, done right. Meaning having as many features as LoL or DOTA2, minimum.

Ah, a Salt Factory vid and ProperBird Witcher 3 combo day. My Xmas gifts truly have arrived early this year.

The game disrespected you hard that day, bruv. lol
I remember that quest, that felt like a personal attack truly 🥲
The Witcher 3 isn't the only Witcher game? 🤯

@@ProperBird Yikes. I'd definitely want to take something. Say a steel sword. Not silver, that's for non-human monsters.
Great stuff Jinzee. Love the on location shenanigans.

“Sentient boulder…” 🤣
Ayy always glad to see a Jinzee vid on my feed!
It's always a good day way you post a new video!

37:30 "Wind's howling..."
edit: okay damnit I posted this literally 15 seconds before I got to the end of the video, you got me Jinzee 😄
If I didn't add a wind's howling in there somewhere I would've lost my Witcher card
Thanks for this super neat video Bird Channel!

I saw the Gwent logo but im surprised It didn't get a section. Though the rise and fall of that game could be its own hour-long video.
Gwent isn't a mobile exclusive, it was initially PC only!

Place of Power... gotta be.
I still can't hear "Nemeton" without thinking "Koudelka". We need more games like that. Even one more would do...
Looking sharp there! (I'm at the start of the video so I haven't got anything else of substance to say, so have the algorithm boost!)
Thank you for the boost!

OK, this one's hilarious.

I realize they arent the dev studio who... did this... but it feels like a real bad roadsign for cdpr's exec leadership learning anything.
Yeah it's a bit of a trend, here's hoping the next game will be a solid one
I think I was vaguely aware that this existed.
And now you're even more aware, I'd like to apologize for that
@@ProperBird You're one of the better ways to receive bad news Jinz!
What about The Witcher : Crimson trail ? :D
I'm not going to lie everything about the pokemon go ripoff sounds really Witcher like. Especially being in danger at night in front of a brothel.
If they'd sent me a real sword for these quests I'd be less upset 🥲
You could have brought your nice knife for a complete japanese witcher cosplay. But at least roach was well represented, even with foley
The knife might've threatened the outside folk 🥹
i remember trying this when it came out, hoping it would reach the same heights as Pokemon Go but nooooo it was bad...very bad

League of Legends exists on mobile so 100%, if they'd given it more thought at the start!
Tbf Diablo immortal is god awful, and so was Diablo 4. Sometimes it is a good indicator of where a company is headed.
I played Battle Arena for a little bit and yeah that game was pretty terrible. Monster Slayer could have been good.
