Please Seph, pin this comment🙏 To all the Michael Jackson fans here on Seph's channel, i apologize. I really do because i should've asked y'all before making a decision. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the music videos thing. For those of you who don't know who i am, i am the one who makes the lists for Seph of the videos to watch in every era. But I think that in the comment of the other video I didn't explain myself well about how I would like Seph to watch the music videos and that you didn't completely understand what I meant. Let me start by saying something that hasn't been clear to many people, I'm not the one who decided that Seph has to react to all the albums first. This was Seph's decision because otherwise it would take him too long to react to all the songs. He wants to do the reactions like the Elvis videos (have you read the community post he made about the Elvis videos?). What I had decided was just the music videos thing but I don't think I explained myself very well on this. If you go and read the comment I wrote under the reaction to the song "Why You Wanna Trip On Me", I explained very well there the way I would like him to do the reactions. But for those who aren't going to read it, here's the step-by-step summary: 1) Hearing all the albums; 2) go back to where he left off (in this case Dangerous Era); 3) watch the music videos of the Dangerous Era; 4) "exploring" the Dangerous Era (with live performances, interviews, awards shows, fanmade videos, etc....); 5) move on to the next era (HIStory Era in this case) and redo everything from point 2 to point 5 up to the last era. Many people thought that I didn't want him to watch the music videos or that I wanted him to watch them at the end of the journey but that's not the case. I've been trying to find a better solution since he wants to hear all the albums first. This way, he can also associate what Michael looked like during an era by first watching music videos from that era since, after watching the music videos from an era, he will watch the live performances, interviews, etc... and then he will see Michael's face in every video until the next era. Not doing this could create a lot of confusion in Seph's head. Furthermore, we could also repeat information that we told him in the reactions to the albums because it's very likely that he would forget it. Another advantage is that this way, we could make him watch the music videos in chronological order since the music videos were not released in the same order as the songs. I understand that many of you want Seph to watch the music videos instead of the lyrics videos right away but since he wants to hear all the albums first, I don't think that's a good idea. I apologize again guys and I hope you understood better the way I would like him to react and that you understood my reasons. Let me know what you guys think. Sorry again🙏🙏❤️
Hi Alex, it's ok, I understand now. What I don't get is why is Seph worried about how long it will take though? I mean yeah Michael had a long career of 40+ years and many things happened in his life as well so it sure will take quite a while to go through it but why should it matter? It is a journey, we shouldn't rush it, on the contrary, honestly the more of Michael the better for me, is the problem is he's worried if people will still stick around? I know I will no matter how long it may take, and I will be honest I don't want the journey to end 😭😭 it's been a real joy for me watching Seph discover Michael every other day, I've become quite attached, it brings back memories, he's one of the very few I watch and the only one I actually subscribed to. It's been good going a little slow through all the eras, I think that's one of the reasons that drew people to stay on Seph's channel, it's the fact that he not only reacts to the music, but he is also willing to go on a journey and explore the life of the artist he's reacting to, of course along with his honesty and contagious joy and smile, and just his very likeable personality, but it shouldn't be rushed, I know it will end someday sooner or later but honestly I'd much preffer it to be later.. I'm sure many fans feel the same way... I hope he is not getting sick of this journey...💔💔

“Can’t Let Her Get Away” ~ Is the sixth song of Michael Jackson in the album, Dangerous. This song was written, composed, and produced by Michael Jackson with Teddy Riley, This has also appeared in the 1993 film called, “The Meteor Man”. Some listeners may view “Can’t Let Her Get Away” as a musical homage to MJ’s main childhood idol, James Brown. However, Jackson’s pen game steals the show here. Buried underneath the machine-gun-like percussion, squawking horns, and assorted beatboxing is a great life lesson: appreciating what you have while you have it. “If I let her get away / Then the world will have to see,” Michael croons in the second verse. “A fool who lives alone / And the fool who set you free.” This is a monster groove that Chuck Eddy of The Village Voice says “has as much disco momentum as anything Jackson’s waxed since Off the Wall.” Both MJ & Riley were referred to by a Chicago Tribune journalist as the "Kings Of New Jack Swing”. Riley recalled in his own words he said "This was mostly from a sample CD that I just put together myself, and it kind of reminded me of the James Brown sound. I could feel it. I thought I'd bring a shadow of some of the greatness of the James Brown production sound to this. I made the sample CD myself - that was me playing instruments, then looping them up and having them lying around for potential projects. Back then I just had them lying around and I hadn't used them… But I really wanted to use them! Throughout the album I was drawing off a lot of CDs I had hanging around, all played by myself. I'm a multi-instrumentalist." The song is about a failing relationship between Michael and his lover. He does everything to satisfy his lover but to no avail, she breaks up with him. Michael is battling within himself throughout the song and he finally decides that he can’t let her get away. Also other than the song Jam this is the first song where MJ fully raps (I love this song so much MJ shows within this track that he’s always staying on top of things and is always willing to evolve love his rapping in here and I always will say this “Can’t Let Her Get Away” & “She Drives Me Wild” are the two most underrated tracks from the album Dangerous HANDS DOWN!!!! And both sound phenomenal nothing heard before or after like those two songs LONG LIVE THE KING OF MUSIC MJ FOREVER!🙌🏽👑🔥🌟💯Btw somewhere I read that this song might’ve been about Lisa Marie Presley or Brooke Shields)
Although the lyrics at 4:36 said “I get the feeling her head is all fucked up” I’m like 100% that’s not what he said. He wouldn’t swear like that on any songs til History by this point the only bad words he’d say is “damn” (on a song that is)
Yeah the official lyrics are out there he never said that, and never said anything about a friend either these people always get it wrong, I don't know where they get that from when literally the only thing they have to do it is look it up and put it on the screen 🙄
Not necessarily true about swearing prior to 94/History, plenty of unreleased demos from 85 - 91 talking about Prostitues, Sexual Abuse, and as far as swearing, Michael was sneaking in "SHIT" multiple times during Beat It live performances... Not to mention, He also use to play with the 80s joke about Beat It being about Masturbation, by adding in lyrics like "Beat It Hard" into his ad-libs during performances. He knew what was being said at the time and enjoyed playing around with the song during live performances.
@@ghostprotocol89 talking about prostitution and that stuff isn’t the same as singing “fuck” or “shit” like he does on History I think you missed my point
@@ghostprotocol89 don't agree. These topics are not cuss words or bad words. He was just adding little things he felt like at the moment of the performances, it's not that serious, I don't believe it was a "counscious" thing as he said many times he just felt the music and started improvising, so the whole "masturbation" thing is only your interpration and nothing that suggests it really was intended to sound that way. Not to mention, I never once heard him sing "beat it hard" in any of his live performances, but rather "LORD", which he sang even on the album version. The tracks on HIStory, on the other hand, did have some swearing because at that point he was just really pissed off at the tabloids and media especially after the first extortion attempt, so yes, I don't think it was just put in there for no reason, he was clearly angry and rightfully so, but what you said about the performances is really a stretch.
@@luana45393 yeah he never said “beat it hard” it was “lord” like you said the fact that that guy heard “hard” and his immediate thought to connect it to masturbation is weird
I think there really is something about the NJS songs that for some people require an acquired taste. I genuinely didn't love them for the first couple of months of listening to MJ. But now these are the songs I return to the most often from the album. Like, I am obsessed with this song and it's hard for me to access the memory of when I wasn't. It's really weird! So while I totally get why people aren't crazy about it, now I find it completely addictive. It's strange and wonderful. Such is the magic of MJ 😍
This song sounds today like a very energetic song. When it came out I got the CD for my birthday in November 1991, I was like.. what is this??? It did not sound like a Michael Jackson song.. But it did not sound like anything else.. It was the end of the 80ies and I believe this song was its time 20 years ahead.
love your reactions :D, I don't vibe with this song that much either bc it's not my style, but this album has some of his best songs for dancing. there's also some beautiful heartbreaking and emotional songs too
Thanks for doing MJ again. When you react to the Dangerous Tour, please choose “Live in Bucharest 1992” from Michael Jackson RUclips official channel. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Ehhh I have to agree I don't really like this song either 😭 to me it's slightly better than She Drives Me Wild, but yes I do agree Michael was very versatile and I do appreciate that he was always trying to change and keep up with the times and not stay stuck in one genre and I like the beatboxing he does in the back along with the beat! Omggg I CAN'T WAIT for the next one!!! It's one of the absolute most beaufiful songs Michael ever made I'm sure you'll loove it ❤❤❤ hopefully won't be waiting too long haha 😂
I was one of the many people who didnt care for MJ growing up. All i ever heard was the bad things and never the good. So i never bothered listening to any of his songs and actively avoided him up until i started RUclips. I really regret it now that i'm starting to get to know him :(
@SephPlays Oh wow! That's really interesting.. Good to see you eventually decided to give his music a fair chance and love your honest reactions. I grew up as a fan largely due to the impact this album and more specifically the next video you're about to do, had on me as a kid! After this album my interest in his music started to decline more and more especially with all the controversy but I eventually circled back as an adult. Really enjoying your journey
these tracks are always interesting cus youn never know if ppl like them. some downt vibe with it at all, others love these dance tracks. for example i like this one and "she drives me wild" over jam. tho the following songs after this one are generally loved by everyone.
In case anyone didn't know, this is off the Dangerous album which was produced by MJ's good friend and man credited for creating the New Jack Swing sound of the 90's which spawned too many hits to name....Teddy Riley. New Jack Swing was sort of an amalgamation reimagining of James Brown and Zapp funk with an aggressive up tempo hip hop vibe beat. This song in particular takes the classic James Brown produced Bobby Byrd classic "I Know You Got Soul" and reimagines it in New Jack Swing for MJ to just slay it. Teddy started his career producing hip hop records as far back as "The Show" by Slick Rick and Dougie Fresh. Too many classic hip hop records on his resume to name also. But he went on to have his own classic 90's groups...GUY and Blackstreet. Dangerous is considered the greatest New Jack Swing album ever created but Teddy produced soooo many hit single for too many artists to name. The man is really a genre unto himself.
This one is great for dancing around your kitchen and living room like a nut. IMO Michaels "one who got away" was always Diana Ross. Even the single for Remember The Time was dedicated to her I believe. He held his tongue on a lot of stuff as it was happening (Thriller/Bad era) then wrote about it later (Dangerous era) when it wouldnt raise suspicion about who it was about. As far as the rap stuff goes, Michael wanted to get into rap on the Bad album but Quincey Jones wasn't having it. He brought in Teddy Riley as producer on Dangerous specifically to get a bit of rap and New Jack Swing sound into his music.
You are absolutely Right, this song is about a real relationship, that left him used and broken 😭😭😭😭😭😭! I am so hurt that this beautiful man was used to the point that he felt like he could never fall in love again ( and he did not),he loved other women, but, he was never in-love, big differences. D.Y.I. I won't tell where) bur, there is a conversation that M.J. with a friend of his, where he Michael clearly mentu names, look it up, itu there for any one to listen to!
The Hulk image on your MARVEL t-shirt is interpreted as part of the green screen and as such, the flowers on Michael's Neverland Ranch come through in place of his muscular body. It's a neat effect.
For some reason don't click with me either but I like the vibe, the rhythm, just not one I listen to regularly, kinda forgettable compared to the other ones tbh
Imagine that Michael did the whole song the first time beatboxing this. Michael could not read music so he pre-recorded the songs with his voice, every instrument. You can hear Michael beatboxing in this song.
Let me know if it's okay with you obviously but trust me, reading all the comments I understood that thats the best way possible. This is really different from Elvis and Depeche Mode
Alright, I'll do this, but could we perhaps mix in the interviews/non-music videos with the songs? So instead of Reacting to the entire album, then watching like 10 interviews/non-songs in a row. We instead do it like every few non-music videos theres a song, for example. That way we are mixing in his life story with his music. This makes the journey less predictable for the audience, and less repetitive and perhaps less boring for the people out there who are waiting for the next song for weeks and weeks. Its the best compromise i can come up with. Also music videos over lyric videos every time "The vote was like 60 40 in favor of music videos" can't argue with em haha Thank you again Alex!! Sorry for this major change again 😅 this is like now the third time ❤️
@@SephPlays You know Seph, thats a bit difficult to do because mixing the interviews/non-album reactions with the album reactions would be a problem for spoilers and it would be really messy. I didnt understand what you meant though with "We instead do it like every few non-music videos theres a song, for example", could you explain this better? I have an idea thats really similar to yours though. ⤵️ Do you remember the Bad Era list? Do you remember how I structured that file? I divided it in sections (live performances, interviews, etc....) so I actually didnt do it in chronological order by years but in chronological order by specific things happened during that era. What I could do now is i can divide the files for the Dangerous Era and all the next eras by years and not by specific things. This way, it would be less predictable for everyone and less boring (but as i told you, i dont think people would be bored since we all are interested in everything that happened in Michael's life) and you wouldnt watch like all the live performances in a row, all the interviews in a row, etc.... So the Dangerous Era started in 1990/1991, i would divide the file in 1990-1991-1992-1993 (the years of the Dangerous Era) and i would make you watch everything year by year during the Dangerous Era. This is the best i can come up with, let me know if you like this idea, its really similar to yours. As I told you in the email, what you ABSOLUTELY need to do now is react to the Remember The Time short film before reacting to "Heal The World" (the song after Can't Let Her Get Away, it also has a music video so remember to watch that). And obviously yeah, music videos over lyric videos all day, its been my idea to do the poll and we have to respect it. Let me know Seph🔥 Thank you for your patience haha🙏
@@AlexSR__ ok we can do that 😀 but i really want to do the live performances at a much later date "so dont add them in at all". I really just want to get through his main catalog of songs and his life story first. Then we can worry about how we will tackle the live shows. Try not to worry tooooo badly about spoliers "So long as they aren't completely crazy ones haha" ❤️
@@SephPlays Seph, the best thing we can do is make another poll or simply a community post where you let people decide. Hearing all the albums first or do everything as you always have BUT ⚠️❗️PLEASE❗️⚠️ you have to ⚠️❗️ABSOLUTELY⚠️❗️ specify that if you'll do everything as you always have, you're not gonna do the live performances. ⚠️❗️This can REALLY CHANGE the outcome of the poll. Not doing the live performances is too big a thing not to mention.❗️ ⚠️ I dont think the "hearing all the albums first" option will win but i've learned the lesson, let the people decide. But it's up to you to decide whether to do a poll or a community post. Maybe doing a community post would be better so you can explain everything well and and based on the comments there will be, you will decide whether to do one or the other. Yeah I think a community post would be better.🔥❤️ Or maybe do both in one, you explain everything and then the people will vote (hoping that they will read the text before voting, specify also to read carefully before voting haha).
Obviously the worst song on the album. I like some sections but the chorus is a let down. His adlibs are great and the music and chords, vocals... everything is good but the chorus is too basic and ends up being repetitive, I like it though but its the worst on the album ahha

Same but jam has grown on me
In case anyone didn't know, this is off the Dangerous album which was produced by MJ's good friend and man credited for creating the New Jack Swing sound of the 90's which spawned too many hits to name....Teddy Riley.
I love this song one of my favs off the album actually 😂😂❤
Great reaction ❤
For some reason don't click with me either but I like the vibe, the rhythm, just not one I listen to regularly, kinda forgettable compared to the other ones tbh
Trollberg is that you
Yeah I feel the same Seph don't really feel this one :/ but don't worry!! It only gets better from here!! All the other songs are amazing ❤❤
Can't let her get away has such a catchy tune, and Michael's versatility is off the charts. One of his underrated songs, to be honest 🔥💚🌠💯👑
There you go, King of Every Genre.
Now, check out ‘Shout’. 😎
love love love mj pra sempre
Imagine that Michael did the whole song the first time beatboxing this. Michael could not read music so he pre-recorded the songs with his voice, every instrument. You can hear Michael beatboxing in this song.
THIS is my favorite song off of Dangerous
Please watch the music videos for the next ones and don't seperate the song🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 please I'm begging it was perfect till now🙏🏼
Hey Seph, which Michael Jackson's song will you be listening next?
He's doing the Dangerous album
Yessss as Mark said ^^
Seph whats your fav song You've heard so far?
I think im gonna be making a video out of this as it isn't an easy answer haha
@@SephPlaysHAHA!
Seph i sent you an email, read it all because it's probably the most important email i have ever sent you🙏
Let me know if it's okay with you obviously but trust me, reading all the comments I understood that thats the best way possible.
Also music videos over lyric videos every time "The vote was like 60 40 in favor of music videos" can't argue with em haha
Thank you again Alex!!
Do you remember the Bad Era list?
You obviously can't dance.
uhmm...freddina, la più ripetitiva...rovinata
