How did you find the Tower's difficulty balancing? If you didn't know, I made another video dedicated to difficulty balancing, which you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/rfXxwlKVhk8/видео.html
I got into a near argument with friends about the tower. They kept saying "its not meant to be fair" and that was their only argument. I got so pissed I left the VC.
@@EimysGD idk cursed thorn is so incredibly easy, with easily readable attacks, tons of time to jump and no real threat. For beginners 'FITH' boss is harder imo
Pretty good video! However, I have a few suggestions that could improve the quality in the videos to come. Near the start, there could be more of an introduction to what the tower is, instead of an abrupt thesis. at 1:25 you could have made the title card more dynamic, maybe with some music, since as it is right now it was sort of a weird drop in any sounds or interesting visuals. I also think the part about commenting your least favorite balancing in a level felt forced and unfocused, and the video could have been fine with it removed. Lastly, a visual at 2:10 would have been nice, since as it stands it sounds like you have a really good idea in your head, but is difficult to understand. Once again, I really like this video and only commented this since I see a lot of potential for the future of your channel.
I feel like difficulty spikes in platformer levels are ok ONLY if its some sort of a bossfight. If the boss was as easy as the rest of the level then it would feel dissapointing that it was so easy. A boss is meant to be a skill check. The FIRE IN THE HOLE PART and fight with the cursed thorn is exactly that. Although I agree with other things that you said.
Do you know whose fault this is? Demon levels. There are too many demon levels until 2023 and now the tower's final level is impossible for beginners. Makes me question if the tower or the map is the story mode. Thanks a lot, Viprin. At least Yunhaseu is fixing the mess you made.
Cursed Thorn and the secret hollow in general was a really big difficulty spike... Worried for what this will mean for the 2nd floor and above, but we'll have to wait and see.
I personally found cursed thorn to be the biggest joke ever with every single of his attack being just directly aimed at you so all you needed to do was just tap left or right.
yea i ageee with u, although i dont think the fire in the hole part is even close to demon. its like, harder at best. i think the difficulty spike comes not from thag section being incredibly difficult, but from all the earlier sections being piss easy. It'd be like if you went straight from stereo madness to jumper
I agree with most of the stuff said but I think the fire in the hole part is in no way even close to demon difficulty and that the first part in the third level is a big difficulty jump
it took me 50 minutes to beat the secret hollow because of the thorn meanwhile it took me 38 minutes to beat speedtek albeit i had over a month to get better at platformer mode, but still

It's a video game. Video games, usually, are meant to be fair. Geometry dash is meant to be fair.
The worst excuse of all time for bad gameplay is “it’s meant to be bad so it’s actually good!!!!”
If im ever in an debate and the opposing sides argument is: Its meant to be unfair and not good then you better believe im dropkicking them.
there are definitely games not meant to be fair, but not at the very first introduction
We should internet shame those rude "friends" from that VC that arcanine enjoyer was in.
The FIRE IN THE HOLE part looked so easy in the 10 year anniversary. The difficulty caught me off guard.
Yeah, i thought level 3 and 4.were going to be impossible but nope sewers were the only hard part
@@SomeCowguythe cursed thorn is way harder than the sewers boss

Lmao
My mom was enjoying the tower until she reached the sewer elevator. She couldn't get past it and was so frustrated that she never finished it.

Too much of a spike
The amount of times I died at the very last hit of the boss in stage 4 almost drove me nuts

It’s pretty difficult at a few stages and the speedruns are a little bit too hard but I liked the challenge!😃

I think it’s demon difficulty on first completion, but feels like harder afterwards
honestly instead of being all that hard I find the cursed thorn just really slow, especially if you try to rush through it and end up missing shots
Yeah, I do find myself waiting around for it to get close enough to hit it
