Last time I tried quitting CARfentanyl and morphine XR I didnt sleep for 17/ days, I had two minor seizures and was severely dehydrated and had hypertension level four. I literally think I was going to die, I copped some dope and final could eat and held down liquid, i slept like a whole entire day and was back at it, that was like 4 years ago, I hate keeping this sickness at bay. This song fucks with me so bad because heroin turned my brother away from me and we were very close. he got so addicted, he robbed somebody with a gun and is serving a 25 year sentence 3 states away from me, I haven't talked to him or seen him, I am getting ready too soon he is up for parole and I will be there supporting him, no matter what he is my brother and I will always love him.
To those commenting about how long you have been clean, you are so strong. I lost my brother to a cocaine addiction and he recently died. Though I have never suffered with any addiction other than self harm, I know it's a struggle. You will get through this.

This made me cry, I'm 15 years old, I'm young, but I understand how bad this stuff is, and how often this happens around the World and some people have it better than others and most of time, this happens behind closed doors, even teenagers deal with this, and then they get bullied at school, and then people don't realize what they go through at home. They just care about being satisfied, watching the look on their face when they hurt them or anything like that, it is really sad, people suffer, they lose their jobs,get into drugs, their whole life just starts fading faster than it should, and no one notices this kind of stuff anymore, at least not enough, and I wish that people will start being more kind and understand what other people go through behind closed doors.
It is hard but it gets better I have had a similar thang but do not give up on them or on yourself you can get through this set your dreams and get to them plan step by step of what you need to do to get to it

Everyone around me pretty well hooked on something and my mom was a dealer, so I saw people going for their first times, and even their last. I would put myself around people that were like me. This song reminds me of my older brother. We were supposed to go to college together as animators. He could draw better than me. He used to have all the girls liking him. Even some of the girls i liked liked him. My mom sheltered us. Then he met a girl who did drugs. He took care of her kids. He worked and had his own place and car. He left all that behind to move away with her. Because his family didn't like her because she was on drugs and crazy. She got him hooked, and now he just talks to himself, and he's homeless. She got cleaned and left him with us to deal with. Me and my family have no clue how to deal with it. This song just reminds me of his situation. He was so innocent my family thought I was gonna be the one on drugs, etc. And it turned out to be the family's favorite. This song hits heavy af. Can't even have a normal conversation with him. My mom is spiritual, so she tries to send positive vibes. And I'm the type that's not gonna baby him because I have my own family. It's just a really fucked up situation. It's even held me back sometimes from the consistency of my content and drawing.

well, you just gotta throw it all away, i go to therapy. i stopped by starting to pick my skin, acne, bumps, razor burn/ etc. However, thats also dangerous, and so to stop that behavior, i started snapping a band on my wrist, thighs, i stopped shaving for a bit, and drawing. I didnt allow myself to be alone for long periods of time. So, those are some things that helped me.

To those commenting about how long you have been clean, you are so strong. I lost my brother to a cocaine addiction and he recently died. Though I have never suffered with any addiction other than self harm, I know it's a struggle. You will get through this.
Yeah, props to them , I been on opiates for 11 years, since I was 22, after a surgery on my balls, they ABRUPTLY took away my pills leaving me sick and I'm 33 now, been on opiates ever since, I tried quitting 4 years ago, CARfentanyl and morphine XR, I didnt sleep for 17 days and became severely dehydrated and had hypertension level four, so I went back to the shyt, being sick sucks. Literally can't even get "high" anymore , just keeping a sickness at bay.

This made me cry, I'm 15 years old, I'm young, but I understand how bad this stuff is, and how often this happens around the World and some people have it better than others and most of time, this happens behind closed doors, even teenagers deal with this, and then they get bullied at school, and then people don't realize what they go through at home. They just care about being satisfied, watching the look on their face when they hurt them or anything like that, it is really sad, people suffer, they lose their jobs,get into drugs, their whole life just starts fading faster than it should, and no one notices this kind of stuff anymore, at least not enough, and I wish that people will start being more kind and understand what other people go through behind closed doors.
It is hard but it gets better I have had a similar thang but do not give up on them or on yourself you can get through this set your dreams and get to them plan step by step of what you need to do to get to it

Everyone around me pretty well hooked on something and my mom was a dealer, so I saw people going for their first times, and even their last. I would put myself around people that were like me. Even was messing with some stuff at times. Then I started dating this girl two and a half years ago, known her for around 8 years, and fell in love with her. I call her my Queen, every single day. It's been a few months since I've smoked cigarettes and cigars, about a year since I've drank, and just over two years since I've done any drugs. All because of my own Queen

This song reminds me of my older brother. We were supposed to go to college together as animators. He could draw better than me. He used to have all the girls liking him. Even some of the girls i liked liked him. My mom sheltered us. Then he met a girl who did drugs. He took care of her kids. He worked and had his own place and car. He left all that behind to move away with her. Because his family didn't like her because she was on drugs and crazy. She got him hooked, and now he just talks to himself, and he's homeless. She got cleaned and left him with us to deal with. Me and my family have no clue how to deal with it. This song just reminds me of his situation. He was so innocent my family thought I was gonna be the one on drugs, etc. And it turned out to be the family's favorite. This song hits heavy af. Can't even have a normal conversation with him. My mom is spiritual, so she tries to send positive vibes. And I'm the type that's not gonna baby him because I have my own family. It's just a really fucked up situation. It's even held me back sometimes from the consistency of my content and drawing.

was 1.5 year clean. had a hard relapse after that. i’m now about 5 months clean, and 4 months pregnant. also have a 5 year old and don’t think i’ve ever really REALIZED how much more i have to live for. everytime before using, i prayed for god to take me. i didn’t use because i liked it. i did it bc i didn’t want to live. i’m so happy i made the decision to get clean again. my daughter is a complete different person now that she has her mommy full time again. i have a man who actually loves me for me and doesn’t beat on me everyday over drugs.. and a whole family behind me like soldiers for support. this song really hits hard. it always has for years. i’ve been battling addiction since i was 17 and i’m now 23.

well, you just gotta throw it all away, i go to therapy. i stopped by starting to pick my skin, acne, bumps, razor burn/ etc. However, thats also dangerous, and so to stop that behavior, i started snapping a band on my wrist, thighs, i stopped shaving for a bit, and drawing. I didnt allow myself to be alone for long periods of time. So, those are some things that helped me.

So glad I'm sober today. His song "lead you on" used to stay on repeat for days while I got my fix and I mean for days. I was addicted to the needle for 7 years, so thank god for recovery!
