So many of these Chinese ebikes come with trash components. Most ebike owners that ride these cafe racers couldn't tell what a group set is, or a hub, or a headset. They just see 750w and 30AH and they're sold. Hence why most ebike manufacturers don't even list the exact components
Hey, I've been watching your videos and commenting on them, and them helped me tremendously over a year now. On my ouxi v8 48v 15ah battery, not the updated version, the original without the passenger seat. The receiving part of the battery sparked due to some moisture, I guess, and it slightly melted the chsrching port. Luckily, this part is unscrewable and can be replaced. I just haven't been able to find a replacement part anywhere. I do Uber eats. I need to keep making money to pay rent and feed my family. It would be nice if you knew of a store online to get it. I've messaged 3 stores, but they haven't ever responded.
@BRichSolution the circular part right under the on-off switch and now it ruined, so now I can't plug in my charger. I took apart the battery, and every thing is fine, and I unclipped the red and black wire connectiom from inside the battery that leads to the charching receiving port that you can unscrew and remove.
I was thinking of doing this too and then started puzzling why calipers would make any difference? I can understand a larger disk rotor, but calipers running the same size brake pads? Clearly new hydraulic calipers do make a difference, but why? Any thoughts on the matter welcome!
I'm looking to get my 1st ebike... looking at the tamobyke v20 then upgrading suspension Or amyet s8 leaving stock. What do you think? Do these brakes work on the v20?
These brakes will work on both tamobyke and amyet. Amyet G60 and Tamobyke V20 have same front fork and suspension. Amyet is faster and torquer motor than v20
I have the same one s and love them. Very easy to find new break pads . On many places
Agreed
Awesome ty
Glad you liked it
Cheap, easy, may save your life. Don't sleep on this if you're rocking mechanical brakes.
I agree

Agreed, they make the bikes with whatever components available are low cost
Nice . Will they fit any bike ??
Any brake rotor 140mm 160mm or 180mm

Which part sparked on battery or the mount?

How is there any difference in brake performance it's still cable pulled
Hydraulic piston has more mechanical advantage over mechanical actuated brake and pads are slightly larger then most cheap mechanical brakes
