@@metzli5797 not really. There is still no cure, and there’s still a severe lack of knowledge around PGAD especially within the medical community. A few people find relief, most haven’t found their own cure at this time. There are around 25+ known causes of PGAD, including anti depressants like SSRIs (I know they talked about most losing sexual desire which happens. Very few do result in causing PGAD. @@metzli5797 It's a really complicated issue; there can be many causes. It can be almost impossible to determine the cause, tho, which makes it really iffy about finding treatment.
The acting in this show is ridiculous, but I love the conversations it starts. Sexual health is important and it's important to talk about it! It's also important to talk about how there's nothing embarrassing or wrong about sex, even the most extreme kinks. Safety and consent are #1.
I second the importance that "men always want sex" isn't something we should teach women and girls! It creates unrealistic expectations in relationships and can be dehumanizing to our partners
True some people are asexual meaning they are fine medically but aren't interested in adult fun time. They show love in other ways :). Too much importance is placed on that one thing in our society. I mean you probably not going to be doing it when you 80 anyway so you better have more in common than just that lol
@@felvkitties8 I mean it's not even that extreme all the time. Sometimes guys just aren't interested at the moment. Contrary to what society might say, no, guys are not always angling for sex at every moment of the day.
Men don't want sex all the time, yeah maybe when you're in your teens and early 20's the testosterone is high, and that they may think of it more than others that are older than them lol, when you get older and in a relationship, you start getting anxious trying to think of what to watch while enjoying your food that is getting cold quickly lol. If you're newlyweds I will say that the adult fun time is normal for like 3 or 4 times a week, but that fizzles out to like 2 or 3 times a week, to once a week, to about once a month. If you manage once a day you've got high estrogen for women and high testosterone for men lol
Mortician here. For that last clip, wakes and funerals at the home of the loved one used to be very common. They don't happen nearly as frequently, but still occasionally do.
I'm 71 now but when I was about 13/14 a friend asked me to go to the city to her grandmother's funeral, needless to say I was uncomfortable and shocked when I saw her in her living room in a coffin. 😱
Here in ireland wakes are very common! The funeral happens very quickly after the death, and usually the body is kept in the home the day before the actual service for close family to pay respects. That's been my experience anyway.
My mom told me when her uncle died, it was tradition in their country to have a home funeral but also have the person stay overnight. My mom's family was poor so she had to share the house with a bunch of her family members. They all slept in one room while her uncle laid in the living room 😂
Are home funerals done in partnership with the funeral home or do families go about that with like coroner's office? Like whats the paperwork side of having a home wake/funeral??
My ex-wife coerced me and I had no idea it was happening because of our culture. Years later I realized it was sexual abuse and it happened very often. Guys don't always want sex and I was being verbally/emotionally/physically abused as well by her, so my libido was not there. However there was an expectation, and since I didn't want sex she would go into a spiral about "I don't think she is sexy", crying and accusing until I did it. Don't treat men like tools. Also, don't treat women like objects. We are all human...

After a squirt of naloxone up the nose, a trip to the ER, and some IV fluids, he was brought back to his home angry at them for sobering him up. When they asked why he stuck the empty bottle up there, he said that he stole it from his neighbor, and wanted to hide the evidence.

And doctors don't always see a lot of blood. While being a resident or in med school, you likely have to perform surgeries and blood draws, many other medical careers don't deal with blood on a day to day basis. I totally understand though. While I'm not very scared of blood, social communication stressed me out. I also have a phobia of medical things that have to do with my mouth, as I had a traumatic operation (that I don't believe was done in the way it should have) and now am scared of going to see the dentist, orthodontist, etc. (And joy, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out this summer...) Good luck! You've got this!

I've actually had a ovarian cyst rupture while having sex. That wasn't really pleasant. To be honest that and having my vaginal walls clamped down on my partner was one of my couple of horror stories.
My favourite episodes of this show were the couple that tried to melt a 5 pound gummy bear to use like hot wax, and the wife got 3rd degree burns all over her chest, and the older couple trying to spice up their sex life by putting a cordless bullet vibrator in the husband's butt where it obviously got sucked right up into his GI tract, while trying to not let their teenage son know what's going on despite them being in the ER.
It’s so weird when people don’t get that melted sugar is hella hot… and with candles, you still need special soft soy wax candles instead of paraffin or beeswax candles so you don’t get 1st or 2nd degree burns from the wax.

This made me remember, I got circumcised at 27 because of phimosis (foreskin so tight the glans can't get out), It was a fairly routine operation, that went well. However, for two or four night - given that during sleep spontaneous erections happen - the stitches were so tight that I was in wailing pain. Luckily for me, the stitches didn't rupture, however doctors shouldn't dismiss patient's concerns, my post-surgery attending told me that "nobody had ever complained" about post-surgical pain, and that made the experience so much worse. Please when you have concerns, and somehow doctors are dismissive, do insist, don't assume that they necessarily know of every possible scenario. In my case it was because my girth was on the upper five percentiles, nobody asked before the surgery, nobody inquired about my question after that.

Being asexual (I don’t experience sexual attraction towards anyone) I know many male ace’s that I’ve interacted with online who’ve really struggled because of the stereotype surrounding men always being in the mood so thank you for shedding some light on that briefly on their behalf! (Also, sex isn’t everything but ace’s can and still do enjoy it even if it doesn’t mean anything to us in the way it does to people who feel sexual attraction, so I wish some people would be more understanding and cut ace’s who enjoy sex a little slack when it comes to the being in the mood department).
Do you believe asexuality is a spectrum? Like someone is only attracted to someone if there's a romantic interest? I personally believe asexual means absolutely no sexual attraction ever of any kind. It'd kinda be like calling yourself an atheist but you believe some religions are true while others aren't.
@@Criner05 people often confuse sexual attraction with sexual desire / libido. Asexuality describes the absence of attraction to anyone but these people can still experience sexual desire, just not focused on any person. Masturbation is an option or having sex with a partner despite not feeling the same attraction as your partner but you still enjoy the physical side of it. Then there is also a spectrum of asexuality that describes different ways people may still feel attraction to others in some circumstances. They are usually grouped under the umbrella of greysexuality, e.g. some people only experience sexual attraction after establishing a close emotional bond with someone. That's called demisexual. Then there are also people who experience attraction but only as long as it isn't reciprocated. As soon as they get a reaction from the other person, their feelings disappear. That's called lithosexual. In recent years, the understanding of human sexuality has increased significantly and there are many new categories on the greysexual spectrum that describe people's experiences better. You can find more online, if you're interested. AVEN is a good place where to start.

Thank you for talking about PGAD. While I don't have it myself, it has been something that I've been very scared of for a long time (Why? I honestly don't know, but I think it has something to do with my anxiety making me think that I might catch rare disorders one day (It's complicated)). Talking about how rare it is and ways on how and why it happens does make me feel a lot more calm about it. At the end of the day, my heart goes out to all the people who have it. It's an absolutely distressing disorder and the fact that some doctors don't believe that it's real angers me so much.
We in the US cant talk about penises and vagina in public or to strangers because of how the puritans viewed sex. It is so ingrained in our society and it dates back over 200 years.
Thank you for saying that men don't always have to want sex or make themselves look strong. Everyone will be happier if we all speak openly about our needs and wants and respect each other.
Watching this is shown me, that our bodies are true temple and not something to play with like a toy. We should take of ourselves and health. And do anything in moderation.
I requested a long time ago for you to discuss PGAD, I was diagnosed with it and there is literally ZERO information or treatment to be found, even my gynecologist had to research it to diagnose me because she had no clue what was happening at first, I wish u could make a video with more info for those of use who have no information or recourse to help with this isolating and devastating condition 😞 The reason suicide is so prevalent is because it’s embarrassing, humiliating and there is literally no one to help. I hold on for hope that some day someone will give me any options that can help, but I can 100% understand and relate to this making u suicidal, I struggle every single day and have to talk myself into hanging on for another day, every single day. Unless u have dealt with this condition, you can’t understand or even imagine just how dark and horrible it can get, or how lonely it can be, and if u think it’s at all about fun or sex, it’s not, it’s actually almost painful and it’s debilitating, and very very embarrassing, I have become agoraphobic because of this condition, that’s how bad it can get.😔

My bf and I tried a new position with sex and it ended up popping my ribs very badly. Had to go see a doctor and I was blunt and honest with them. As a guy I'll add to this. It is true that we want sex sometimes, but it's not all the time. Thank you for this comment
True some people are asexual meaning they are fine medically but aren't interested in adult fun time. They show love in other ways :). Too much importance is placed on that one thing in our society. I mean you probably not going to be doing it when you 80 anyway so you better have more in common than just that lol
It isn't something you should teach anyone tbh
@@FM-lt1hzScotland, too. Funeral is sad, serious, sombre time- wake is drinky celebration of their life time
My mom told me when her uncle died, it was tradition in their country to have a home funeral but also have the person stay overnight.
To be fair you should have told her that you weren't into it. Because yeah, sexual relations are a part of marriages.

@@canesugar911 I don't think you understand. I was expected to be a parent and be sexually active. I was a brainwashed servant of the great Mormon dogma. I've grown since then. Getting married at 21 was not great, for many reasons
@@terrafirma5327 okay so i particularly choose to reply to your comment because you mentioned "culture". Because we(where I'm from) have a culture where sex before marriage is not advised and sex during a marriage is a spousal duty. And denying your spouse sex without valid reasons are grounds for divorce and annulment. I have seen that happen. Also average age for marriage is 19. So there is that expectation. Parent or not. Im not American btw.
Anyways it seems that you are no longer part of that sect. Good for you.

I used to disregard medical advice about protecting your skin while using ice packs. I have chronic neck pain and use ice packs daily. One time, I not only used one without a cloth between it and my skin, but I was re-using an instant cold pack (the kind you have to pop a membrane inside so chemicals will react and get cold instantly). They specifically state not to refreeze them, but I still did it because they were extra cold and stayed cold way longer. Well, sure enough I did get frost burn on the back of my neck. It was painful, red and swollen. Over the next week or so, the skin got crusty and peeled off. I never tried that again. Live and learn.

I’m genuinely surprised that none of the clips you reacted to included somebody with a foreign object stuck in their butt. I had a firefighter EMT classmate in college, and 9/10 of her calls were for something being stuck up there.
He made a video about that
They also always "fell on it".
I always wonder how did people deal with things getting stuck before proper healthcare
LOL yes, my dad does ambulance calls and they get a few like that, usually from the same dude. When it came down to a pickle jar they had to explain that if it broke he could sever an artery and bleed out. Hopefully he switched to silicone...
@@luvahadowsdolls The worst call my classmate got was for an apparent opioid overdose. When she got to the house, she was greeted by a distraught housewife who led her and the other EMTs to her 50-something husband. He was comatose, had his pants and underwear around his ankles, and had an empty oxycontin bottle shoved up his butt. After a squirt of naloxone up the nose, a trip to the ER, and some IV fluids, he was brought back to his home angry at them for sobering him up. When they asked why he stuck the empty bottle up there, he said that he stole it from his neighbor, and wanted to hide the evidence.
I was an ER nurse, and we had a patient come in who ended up having to have surgery in her vagina because we cannot stop the bleeding that was happening. The whole time the patient told us that it was because her partner was “” large“. Obviously, that was not the case, but she refused to tell us actually what happened. Let’s just say that we have all seen some stuff go on and come into the ER especially things that have been inserted.
i’ve always thought it was odd that parents never tell kids the correct terminology for their body,
it leads to shame, embarrassment, and it’s just silly.

@@Spook-y I'm glad you're finding a career that you would love!
Do keep in mind that dentists do often see at least some amount of blood (from bleeding of the gums, for example).
(And joy, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out this summer...)
