Last band I saw before shit hit the fan in 2020. They're my last memory of having a great time and by far my favorite band this year.

love how they do the entirety of one of my favorite Dylan songs, "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" in the middle of TINP. awesome show! I just discovered this band and I can't wait to see them live!

Just discovered this band (I'm slow) - seeing them play next month. This KEXP performance is great! And I like having a version of "Jack in Titanic" that I can around my kids :P

I just saw these guys in Brooklyn last month. They were fun live. The guitarist goes a little bananas. Hot Snakes were supposed to play but cancelled, so Bodega had some big shoes to fill. They have a very 80s vibe to them, Specifically 80/81.

Everyone in this band is so pretty. :) It's cool they worked with Parquet Courts on this, I was drawn to them for their similar spirit but had no idea the connection was that literal.

I came here trying to figure out if the singer was Andrew Savage in a different band, but I guess I can hear the difference in their voice on this live recording.

When everyone in the comments is saying “they sound like” or “they remind me of” you know your band has zero originality.
It was going well until the girl became lead singer.
I can't believe they managed to ruin TINP by upping the tempo right up toward Alvin and the Chipmunks levels. Sort it out FFS.
The first songs 5 minutes too long but got through it thanks to the stage presence of the performers. Shame the girl can’t sing in the second. After listening to these efforts they should have retired after Jack in Titanic (great song).

I used to play in this band. Couldnt be more disappointed in the direction they’ve decided to go.
saw them open for franz ferdinand last spring break and yeah.... I mean, I don't mind the music really (thankfully their album was produced by Austin Brown of Parquet Courts) but damn I just dont like their cringeful personalities.
I lasted 15 minutes, which was 10 minutes longer than I expected after the Weezer cover.

They do seem hipper than I'll ever be but I kinda love them for that. They remind me of people I used to see wandering around the East Village, minus the heroin dependency. But in the end it's about the music and they got the goods.

Tom Kurt I hope I don’t sound like a complete jerk. I would like more bands like we have seen in the past that are not distorted power chord guitar, drum and bass centered bands. Bands that derive their energy from their melodies as opposed to volume and yelling.

This is still way better than the slow, boring bedroom pop stuff that is getting lots of hype.
