I attended sgusom 87-91, matched into a gen surg residency, did fellowship Never looked back, nobody ever asked where I went to school. I worked with two other surgeons, one from Penn, other Yale.
same here. graduated 2009, father graduated 88. ortho, roommate from SGU matched in plastics. Just work hard, network and do reasonably well on the exams. GLUCK!
Just to add about failing an exam: at SGU you need to achieve 69.5% on each exam to pass that exam in term 1. If you don't, you'll get an email that you're performing unsatisfactorily and they will offer you a program called ITI which is learning in smaller groups via major stop points. In order to pass the entire term you need to achieve a total of 528 'points' - your raw score from each exam contributes to these points, as well as participation points from small group, attending lecture (about 66 'free points' in total). The majority of the points you need to pass will come from exams. In other words - if you get less than 528 points overall, you will fail that term and be offered credit remediation.

Yes! I already did one and will be editing and uploading soon! Make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it 😁
You should do one with a AUC student.
Working on it! :)
Thank you 🙏🏿
If waiting on AUC. Watch the Ross one. Same school and systems, just different location.
70%-73 is perfect compared to nursing school 78% of course a big difference still 78 is crazy 🥴
