I wish i could fall asleep as easily as you could I get so seasick on the water 😅 Really fantastic video. Omg I hate it when people tell you you've missed a sighting by minutes. This has happened to me so many times and I feel like I'd rather not know and be disappointed. it's been a while since I've been on RUclips so I definitely need to binge your India series ❤
Ahh thanks for this Ella haha! Sleeping on a boat is both a blessing and a curse, I tend to fall asleep so quickly because of the swaying motion, so sometimes miss the good views 😂. And Yeaaaah it was so annoying haha I was a bit disappointed, buuuuuut all the more reason to go back to try and spot tigers haha 😜 can’t wait to see your next vid!!!
Haha after this comment I went looking on RUclips but I couldn't find too many other videos from foreign tourists, that's quite interesting. Sundarbans was one of the first places ever on my list to visit in India, although it only naturally happened on my second trip! Such and impressive area! Thanks for watching! 🙏
Hello friend, Great to see you watching Sundarbhan forest in India with the lovely river of mangroves. Even though you couldn't watch tigers in Sundarbhan, you can watch them in other Indian wildlife parks my friend
I lived in a Village like that you are staying in a Mud wall house and the ceiling is made of special grasses and it is like an airconditioned house. In winter warm and in summer cool, but we had brick with tile houses and mud walls with Tin-shed houses (very hot in summer), but winter was comfortable. Electricity wasn't there in the '60s and mid-70s, but a mile away we had town house in a sub-district town. Our village last first part was the city Police station. We know those men eating history and many poor people from Sundarbon used to work in our area when the Sundarbon was closed for fishing wood cutting or collecting Honey. Our city(village) is just 132km from the Bangladeshi part of Sundarbon(larger than the Indian one). There a Palm Leaves called Golpata(round leaves), which are better than Date tree or palm-tree leaves and are excellent materials to cover the roof of the house and last longer than special grasses. Best Bangladeshi houses are made of Bamboo structures- walls and Roof and covered with Goal Pata. Those bamboo or tree sticks wall is covered with clay and cow dung mixed. But nowadays most village houses are made of Bricks and concrete.
I had been to the Sundarbans in West Bengal in 2017. I didn't get to see the tigers except for a brief glimpse of one for a few seconds. Despite that, it was a great experience. I am from Calcutta/Kolkata and it took me several years to finally see it.
Very underrated place the Sundarbans. Sundar Ban in Bengali means pretty forest. Love your the way you present your vlogs. Hoped your mom could've been there
Ah I would have loved to have had my mom with me there as well! Her time in India was so short. But will have to go on another adventure with her soon. Thanks for tuning in again, glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I am kinda happy that they only told you about the Tigers, crocs, leopards and stuff.. Do you know the most dangerous things of Sundarbans? 1. Snakes ( king cobra, russle viper) 2. Pirates, yes there are lot of pirates that stroll the waterways, specially at night
Perhaps you are the first foreign tourist is visiting Sunderbon, in India side. It is very thrilling and hectic tour , but four days tour is also very interesting. Enjoy it.
