I don't like Cowherd at all, but he is absolutely correct man. I am saying what I have been saying since 2016. Until MT is gone they will be middle of the pack for eternity, and will not progress until they have a franchise QB. The most important position in football MUST be addressed and they make it hard to impossible to properly address drafting outside of the top 10 every year. Just my .02 cents

Tomlin made it to 2 Superbowls, won 1 of them. Could be to more, but Brady/Bekichick, Peyton Manning, and great Ravens team were always in the way. Then Kansas City gets Mahomes. AFC is brutally hard, bro.

Cowherd also said they’ll miss the playoffs this year and be a losing team. When has tomlin had an elite QB to coach. When was the last year he had a top 12 QB to coach. The Steelers moving off tomlin will get them from being respectable to straight out bad. Go ask another coach to get mason Rudolph, Kenny Pickett, and duck hodges to the playoffs. They get rid of tomlin and he’ll have a job in 10 mins. The front office has not figured out how to draft a new QB and that got belicheck fired cause he couldn’t win without Brady. Tomlin can win with any QB, his buddy Shaun Payton couldn’t win with Russ, the bears couldn’t win with fields and up until this week they were winning their division with Lamar and burrow with guys everyone said was trash last year on their other teams. Tomlinson would be better off elsewhere but the Steelers floor would drop from playoffs every year to top 5 worst teams

@@titowrestlingYes, in his second season as a coach and it is fourth season as a coach, he went to another Super Bowl and lost to Green Bay. What is he done since then, other than have a whole bunch of really great speeches when he stands up at the podium. Tomlin has been in Pittsburgh for 18 seasons, Chuck was here for 23 seasons and they should’ve got off of him when he got to the 19th season. The Rooney’s hold onto coaches for way too long. And when has the Standard become “never had a losing season” and back into the playoffs because you’re getting annihilated by superior teams and bounced out in the Wild card games? Enough with excuses for Tomlin guys. It’s old and we can do better. Ask Philly.

I am just convinced the Colin has his favorites like everyone else. At the beginning of the year he didnt have the Steelers in the playoffs. He and his kid MIddlekoff were saying that the Steelers should get rid of Tomlin before the year started. The Steelers may suffer from a talent shortage on offense but alot of other franchises would take the consistency the Steelers always have. If they keep the pwer back they have and draft a decent WR2 , they could be dangerous next year.

Mike Tomlin is not going nowhere Belichick and Pete Carroll. They work for a different organization the Pittsburgh Steelers. Do not fire there coaches. The Pittsburgh Steelers have had three head coaches in the last 30 years: Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher, and Mike Tomlin:
Chuck Noll: Coached the Steelers from 1969 to 1991, winning four Super Bowls in a six-year span. Noll is considered one of the greatest head coaches of all time.
Bill Cowher: Won one Super Bowl.
Mike Tomlin: Hired in 2007, Tomlin is the current head coach of the Steelers. He led the Steelers to their sixth Super Bowl win in 2008. Tomlin is known for his stability and leadership, and is considered a future Hall of Famer.😊

But with Tomlin you have to give the caveat that he can get a team that is not a playoff team to the playoffs. Why difference in this game? One thing is Mahomes had more time in the pocket. Worthy is better this week than he was last and also the week before. he is close to levelling up :) The defense seems to have settled down a little and also, those turnovers that they were unable to get for 2 seasons of good to great defense are now coming to them.

That is why the broncos decided to move on in Denver. It was always a fumble a pick or a game full of sacks. I've said this several times before but Russ has too many 3 and outs and too many sacks. He led the league in both with the broncos as well as being fumble prone. He didn't throw a lot of picks.
