To everyone asking consistently, the spoke word at the end of the song is a cut piece off the album, but the original audio is from a movie called "The Great Dictator" starring Charlie Chaplin who plays a Jewish barber entirely unaware of the rise of fascist Hynkel [Hitler basically] following the invasion of Poland; due to his resemblance he assumes the identity of Hynkel during a ghetto patrol and arrives to the Osterlich parade in his honor trying to save the people, and does so using this speech presumably.
Wow this song is incredible. Perfect example of how heavy, progressive, technical metal riffs can be used with clean vocals and it's a damn shame it isn't done more often.
It's actually a bit of a relief to hear a softer vocal style with heavy music like this. Paves the way for something new in the future whether it be new music from this artist, or inspiration for someone else.
The guitar playing is flawless but honestly the vocalist stands out to me more these days. When the album came out I thought it was all a out the flashy sick ads guitars, but this guys sense of when to use clean and harsh vocals is incredible
This is perfection, I love the HAARP machine. Rarely do I cum across metalbands who trigger my attention. Can’t describe how good this is. The composition is just perfect!
I'm personally proud to be a listener of The|HAARP|Machine and grateful for their work. I'm also proud of Sumerian Records as a whole. The era has come when the message and lyrics within the music are just as much important as the music itself.
@@pronickk1 Definitely. But they're just preparing to release their first Album. They have one single with Mike on vocals called Wishful Thinking and three instrumentals and are on their first tour right now with Rings of Saturn and The Faceless. I recommend listening to Whishful Thinking and A Red Letter Day first. Have fun :p
I just read a article about how Metal was Uniting people at first, a.k.a. the "Metal Brotherhood". Really nice to then hear this song, and the speech. :D

It's fucking awesome how I more and more find myself in the lyrics, the music and even the names of those new modern Djent and Core bands. Forever Orion, Hacktivist, Periphery, Skyharbor, Crown the Empire, even the new Adept album... It's coming :) The elite keep fucking destroying our planet and trying to make slaves of us but we are the Children of Love! We are the noise of generation now! We won't bow down to greed, hate, war and anything like that anymore!
It was like they were getting onto stage after a big argument. Al got onto stage looking like he didn't even want to be there. It was pretty obvious that the other members of the band really didn't want to deal with him. He just kinda looked off one side of the stage and didn't move.
Spencer is prob my fav metal vocalists after Serj Tankian. I think his cleans add a lot to periphery and he pulls it off ridiculously well live. He nailed ragnarok when I saw them.
Spencer Sotello is amazing. Periphery is a great band. Sometimes i feel the same about cleans, but i like Periphery so much. Cleans in general are hit or miss with every band.
Don't be so hard on yourself. The music industry has practically accepted already the fact that 80% of the listeners download the music instead of buying it. That doesn't mean I wouldn't buy anything to support the artists, -I did-, but I think their ultimate goal is to get their music across the world to be listened to, they can still profit from the merch/tours stuff even if they don't sell their albums.
That HBIH article about him using guitar pro was a troll, they even had to put a bloody disclaimer on the article saying that it was satire. Jesus christ...
I saw them live back in December (and my friend and I already thought it was going to be there last tour, they didn't look happy). All the members were spot on except Al. He can play fast, but he's terribly sloppy.
The Great Dictator, starring Charlie Chaplin, who is dressed as Adolf Hitler and doppelgangs him through much of the movie. Sort of ironic how he already looked like him anyways.
not just that but Sumerian is a very smart label that really only signs bands who are original in their own genres. look at i the breather, asking Alexandria, upon a burning body, and stray from the path. all different bands but within their genres they really stand out. Look at rise records, they keep bands who all have that "risecore" sound. they have a lot of signed bands but none of them are really any good except for like miss may i and they still suck.
I happen to stumble upon what may be the best band I've ever heard and they're not even together anymore. Fantastic!
Ey they're back!
@@DwayneRidgwayOfficial wait. Really ? That would be awesome
I think this album is perfect ...

Minton Branham Sounds like you'd enjoy Affiance. :)
Interloper would be your thing, my friend. They even have the same vocalist.
There's a whole genre for that you know?
@@ChilisauLP HOld the FUCK up! Mike Semesky is the vocalist of Interloper?????
My sound in my darkest days. Thank you so much Haarp Machine! To the people behind this masterpiece, THANK YOU!
a rare gem of an album. I hate that this band broke up but I feel lucky to have this record as a memory of them.
Damn I wish these guys stayed together
New fan here . Just randomly stumbled upon it while searching for something else ❤
the light touches of sitar. man im dying
It's actually a bit of a relief to hear a softer vocal style with heavy music like this. Paves the way for something new in the future whether it be new music from this artist, or inspiration for someone else.
They should have more chill songs like this if they make music again
I usually don't.like cleans in metal, but this convinced me otherwise!! This is my favorite track off the album, they saved the best for last!!!
\m/
The guitar playing is flawless but honestly the vocalist stands out to me more these days. When the album came out I thought it was all a out the flashy sick ads guitars, but this guys sense of when to use clean and harsh vocals is incredible
i love the the first part up to the second verse soooooooo much
This is perfection, I love the HAARP machine. Rarely do I cum across metalbands who trigger my attention. Can’t describe how good this is. The composition is just perfect!
One of my favorite album among my top 5 ever
Just read the lyrics :) This is the perfect future for all
It's just a shame this clip didn't make it onto the album...

Fell in love as soon as i heard the sitar.
Great bands use many layers.
This band is amazing~
Was reaching for the close button due to those intro vocals, but the riffs kept me here. They kind of grow on you, too, actually.
***** My sentiments exactly.
Reminding everyone this album and song exists and Sumerian has yet to release anything since that tops it 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I need more of this! ASAP!!
FREE ACCESS TO NECESSITIES OF LIFE
CANT WE ALL JUST LIKE WHAT WE LIKE AND SHARE THE FACT THAT WE'RE ALL CONNECTED THROUGH OUR LOVE OF VIBRATION AAAAH
I feel evil for loving that the vocalist is in Intervals now. I honestly liked HAARP for al mu'min's guitar anyway.
@Tree Tape He is in Interloper now, and I love Miles guitarwork🤔
ChiliLP wait waaaa, is interloper worth listening too?

This is great !!!!!!!!! love your music . Alex, you are amazing!!!
much better than expected based on what the guitarrist was posting earlier.
I just read a article about how Metal was Uniting people at first, a.k.a. the "Metal Brotherhood". Really nice to then hear this song, and the speech. :D
They are different band with different sounds and approaches mad respect to all of them
Fuck
why did this beautiful music have to end:-;

my favourite off the album. such cool riffing
This song is amazing \m/ I usually don't like cleans in metal aside from maybe one other band (Fleshgod Apocalypse) but this.....this is great.
just loving the bass lines
making it appealing to people who either A) don't understand music, or B) who want to fit in with everyone else
Spencer is prob my fav metal vocalists after Serj Tankian. I think his cleans add a lot to periphery and he pulls it off ridiculously well live. He nailed ragnarok when I saw them.
The german version of this speech is also in Der Weg einer Freiheit - Neubeginn
This song is amazing!
awesome! this speech is also on Orion's song "machine"
awesome lyrics, awesome music... !!
Spencer Sotello is amazing. Periphery is a great band. Sometimes i feel the same about cleans, but i like Periphery so much. Cleans in general are hit or miss with every band.
Favorite song off of their album! :D
Is this the extended version of the song? :o
this is one of the greatest bands ever
The Chariot has this same speech in their new album One Wing. I'm pretty sure it's the last song as well.
The speech in the end is also the intro of the "Where whales go to die" EP by Orion.
Does anyone know, who has held the speech? And when?
I'd like to see a video for this song. its awesome!
I agree with this 96% I feel Capture The Crown is bringing the label down the extra 5%
3:22 - Dat riffage tho.
Pretty sure that is Guitar Pro playing that
Bunters196 it is like, he didn't learn how to play his riffs untill like a month ago
everythign else about sumerian records is amazing

can anyone help me out and tell me where the end bit came from? the awe inspiring speech
Them instrumentals tho.....THIS BAND IS AWESOME!!!
what is the speach in the end?
TZM TVP charlie chaplin - the Dictator (movie end speech) it’s amazing!
Sadly we will never get an album like this much like necrophagist and tge human abstract
Spencer Sotello is just captializing on previous endeavours.
I love The HAARP machine and am not a big fan of periphery. I don't see why that would be strange.
too bad this band don't fuckin exist anymore
is this Mike Semesky?
Yes
Wow, this is so amazing.
That shows he truly means what he says.
Anyone here 2022?
Cool man, when you say they didnt look happy what do you mean?
I couldn't have said it better myself.
The speech is from "The Great Dictator" written by Sir Charles Chaplin
Sumerian has a monopoly on modern metal right now
That HBIH article about him using guitar pro was a troll, they even had to put a bloody disclaimer on the article saying that it was satire. Jesus christ...
I saw them live back in December (and my friend and I already thought it was going to be there last tour, they didn't look happy). All the members were spot on except Al. He can play fast, but he's terribly sloppy.
As far as I know al is still going to try and continue...?
I love this so much :)
I love this song
The great dictator, i remember now (y)
Machine Over. Literally.
great song \m/
Yea its a shame that most people only get that excited about their sports team.
Yeah this is great
Yah your right man I'll lay it off. :)
about fucking time this gets up x)
this speech isnt on the album i pre ordered????????????
wait seriously? after waiting this long for the album they go on one tour?...-.-
god damn thats a gravy biskut!
So both The Chariot and The HAARP Machine use the Charlie Chaplin speech - awesome!
Woah, Charlie Chaplin's speech wasn't in my album. :u
cant believe what happened...
where is the spoken word at the end of this album from?
The Great Dictator, starring Charlie Chaplin, who is dressed as Adolf Hitler and doppelgangs him through much of the movie. Sort of ironic how he already looked like him anyways.
I think I've just found my first band of 2013
Why do all the children want to grow old? Lyrics by Recoil.
Excerpt from the movie "The Dictator" by Charlie Chaplin.
Go check out Basick Records, they're building a metal army of their own.
6:12 who is this speaking?
+Jeswin Thomas the speech by charlie chaplin !
Cool
You've been misled, the movie is called "The Great Dictator".

The only bad band sumerian got is AA and we all know that
I think this is Ghandi...
