If your familiar with the game Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom, then what would you say if I had the idea for these places to be made into levels in which the pPlaytime Palace has to be saved from evil Robots that have to be cleared out?
The Room with all the houses in is sort of mind boggling and also, the thing about that one, is it’s one of my favorites, because it kinda matches the eerie and abandonment feel to it. And also it kinda reminds me of Jurassic Parks secondary theme song where the structure of the tone is similar. And also it kinda makes me sad alittle bit because whoever ran that area of the place, must’ve had fun working there. And I strongely think it was part of an indoor amusement Park at one point. The Starfield Playtime place seems to have been abandoned for so long, from what I can sense and believe, is that it seems to have been closed for decades…. It’s like no one’s operated it for decades since. Due to some incident or scandal that occurred. And I think that it was not something that was intended to happen but they probably had to leave and close it for good. And I think that something Tragic and traumatizing occurred in this place.
There's something about this that makes me tear up with nostalgia. The slow, echoing and distant sounding tone of such precious childhood songs really hammers on the thought of childhood being gone forever. It's as if my past kid self is trying to reach out and say "hello" from far far away.

"Calm"? You must mean that sarcastically. That so-called music, the same few notes on repeat, is the kind of thing they use as torture in Guantanamo. I had to mute after less than 2 minutes. I felt like my brain was going to explode if I heard one more second of it.

That hollowness of the music and the reverb are so eerie - I love it! And the lighting, the dreaminess, the entire atmosphere, is just perfect! I love the series that you have going here!
the backrooms is very comforting for me. all of the nostalgic places just waiting for you to explore them. the music in the background of this video brings me back to memories of myself as a child. the hours that were spent inside play areas. i'm absolutely in love with all of the rooms shown in this video. younger me would've been so happy if he was brought here - running around and giggling away. he's always loved play areas. i still love them and i would definitely still get so excited to be there. nostalgia is such a strong feeling and it grabs me so tightly, all of the time.
Could listen to this all day. All of them sound so peaceful and eerie. And side-note: I freaking love how the camera pans over each room. The worldbuilding is so amazing. 😭
This is amazing. As soon as I saw the scale of the tables and chairs to the rest of the place, I could feel my stomach drop a bit. It's unsettling and I love it. Those bouncy castles that look like metallic balloons are where I'd run to first. Might take me a day and a half to get there...
Would love to hear playlists from other episodes. I love the way you made these btw, focusing more on the space rather than the monsters in it is a nice change of pace. I'm so used to monsters being the main focus in these videos so please keep up the work! It's nice to see someone who gets the horror of Liminal.
Yesss the first melody is something that played hourly at the chuch clock I lived beside for years, except it changed the last few notes (and no bells obvi) so the liminality was STRONG, nostalgia but not quite right 👌 perfect
Oh wow, I really appreciate you for making this! I've actually been watching your Level FUN videos constantly because of the music. It sounds so cool and calming and has helped me sleep, so getting a video like this makes me really happy. Also, I really love your style!!
I don’t know if you’re one for video essays, but coming back to this, this video suddenly reminded me of a video called Why Do Horror Games Sound So Beautiful by Jacob Geller. It’s not completely applicable since it’s about horror games and neither do I agree with the way he talks about TEW1, but I do think the overall message, of the relationship between music and horror media is reflected here. If the video were not just about video games, I definitely think your sound track could’ve been used as an example in the video had Jacob Geller known about it
Every time I watch this video, I feel somewhat comfortable and cozy. I like the strange, distant, but somewhat familiar, nostalgic, deja vu-like feel of the backroom. I've never experienced it before, but I feel like I'm facing a dream world that I knew in my unconscious mind.
It's curious, I'm literally crying with your music, gentleman, it's very melancholic and nostalgic, especially "birthday place", it reminds me a lot of my mother, when she stayed up all night preparing everything for my big birthday, another song is "Golden paradise "This reminds me a lot of my father because as a child I played with him with toy cars and whenever he could he brought me one as a gift, also as I am an only child I played alone for a large part of my life, to be honest I am afraid Because I know I won't have them with me forever and that breaks my heart, so I'll take advantage of every moment with them, good video Hyper.
Play Palace was an interesting set of videos. It kind of reminds me of how some TV shows have their "musical episodes", and I think the extra work needed to come up with music that reflects each room in the Play Palace gave the who saga a very unique place in this series, and a unique place in backroom videos in general. What other backroom series has a whole SOUNDTRACK that the creator had to put together? The effort, planning, and scripting really shows in your work, and I think this is a fun bonus for fans of the series. I also wonder about unexplored areas in previous videos, since there were angles in the fly-bys where I saw very little of in the original video, but had so much detail that you couldn't really show off (but I still appreciate that it gives the rooms a largeness and detail that makes them more imposing). I think the "You Are My Sunshine" room is my favorite. It's so large, with a giant, moving sun above it, and it just adds to that liminal creepiness overall of the video. What created such a large room that needed a large, mechanical moving sun, always rotating for no one who is there? It has no explanation, no purpose, and that just makes it chilling to me. PS - I get that the Carousel Room is freakier, with multi-size Carousels stretching into the void, but for me, it's fantastically eerie, while the Sunshine Room feels like it could be a real place, and instead... it isn't. I think that's more in line with what a backroom should feel like, and therefore, scarier for me. But that's what I love about this series. It doesn't follow rules on what a backroom "should be", and brings a lot of different dynamics and ideas for our protagonist to explore.
I absolutely love the music and the colors. More importantly how the songs fit the theme of the room. Eerie yes cause no kids anywhere but it makes me reminisce about birthday parties during my childhood as a kid
Childhood nightmares made real! These nostalgic play places many of us have distant memories of now were great fun but they could easily take a quick sinister turn if you got lost. If you couldn't spot Mummy off to the side anymore. I say this because I do vaguely recall one such incident in my own childhood and even though I can't quite get all the details anymore, it is the fear and dread that I do remember clearly! I think you capture this feeling in your renderings and music. A subtle sense of something sinister lurking beneath the fun and innocent looking surface. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Congratulations on the good work you did, this series of blackrooms was perfect, very well done and organized the part that moved me the most was Rosemary, and all the other scenes and parts were well created congratulations on the great work
Thank you for uploading this, I loved the background music from the play palace areas and having them all in this video with no other sounds is perfect for feeling nostalgic and relaxed
honestly i would not be opposed to the idea of doing this for every previous level: a ''calm'' showcase of both the music and the scenarios/levels, since both are quite superd and unique to your style. but then again i undesrtand that that could take time.
I love watching all of your videos, and I just wanted to say thank you for working so hard on them. Everyone loves them and I know for sure I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos.
I know I'm commenting on this video pretty late, but I subscribed and watched all your videos back in October and I always find myself coming back to these PlayPalace videos. They're so eerie yet feel so familiar. The music fits well to each room too and the hidden messages in the neon signs are great😂 I really like your take on these rooms and can't wait to see what you come up with next. I'm waiting for the new video next week😊 I'm glad somebody mentioned your channel on a different backrooms video. Didn't know how much I was missing❤
This music is so fantastic. I grew up in a time where places like this were still around. The animation and the music combined bring me a sense of comfort and nostalgia that no other backrooms/liminal space content creator has ever made. Just listening to this music can bring tears to my eyes, which is a weird yet beautiful feeling that I get from this video. Another detail that I found super well done and interesting is that these rooms look LIVED in. There are toys scattered, it's messy, and some of the walls and play structures look kinda gross and sticky, just like real indoor playgrounds🤣Very cool attention to detail! Well done dude! Had me hooked from the very beginning😁😁
That was a good idea. 1st it allows to concentrate on the music as we're not distracted by some plot. And as we're not bound to the protagonist's perspective we can now float freely through the rooms. And finally this is so soothing though still slightly eerie and surreal.
I'm sooo happy with this ❤️ I wish you have your dreams comes true. Appreciate your efforts ❤️❤️ Now we can have little clam dreams with Rosemary and Lavender.
Why does the first one sound like Lost At A Sleepover from OMORI…? Also, here are the other songs I know from these last two episodes: 4:31 - Happy Birthday 11:43 - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star 16:32 - You Are My Sunshine 28:23 - If You’re Happy And You Know It
This level would be a true nightmare if it were full of screaming young children. :O Trust me, I've taken my children to Chuck E Cheese enough times in the past to know; and their parents are often worse.
It looks as if the wonderer is the size of a doll compared to the rooms on this level, making the wonderer feel very inferior and weak inside the liminal space. And the vid almost feels like living inside a childhood dream.
when i was younger, like 4 or 5, my parents had a kiosk in the mall. i wasn't in school, and they would work, so i would tag along with them everyday. a lot of my memories from that time are really fuzzy, but one of the main things i remember is the playplace there, on the other side of the mall. i would beg them to take me all the time, and every so often my dad would give in and bring me over there. it was a constant thing to look forward to in those years, and honestly i had forgotten all about it before watching your most recent videos. i love liminal spaces & backrooms content, but nothing's hit close to home quite like the starfield playpalace. it makes me so, so nostalgic. i love your work, dude :) it's awesome seeing your constant improvement & creativity. i usually don't comment on youtube videos but your channel absolutely captivates me. can't wait to see what you do next!
Your videos bring me such a great vibe, not only just the fact you added lore here (rosemary and luna etc) you captured the true aesthetic of liminal spaces and there immense nostalgia but the music that goes along with these videos makes it all the more amazing, if there is anyone i come to when in need of nostalgic comfort it you, keep up the good work bro you deserve every viewer and subscriber you have ❤❤
Just imagine that I could visit this place in real life and walking alone while these music playing, it could make me feel nostalgia to something and feeling creepy lonely but still fun. 😂❤
A new footage !!! I hope the best for your work, I send you strength so you continue it. This is really relaxing every time I watch and we discovered a new interesting level of the backrooms !
Oh how cute the playplace is like a birthday cake and the pillars are like the candles! I would LOVE to have my 30th birthday here! Yes I said it. 30th. I amy be getting older, but I'm never too old to be a kid while I still can.
Sucesso!
I feel a very strange and unsettling nostalgia feeling from this bringing back memories from like 14 years ago when I was only 4 or 5 years old in my preschool and its making me remember things I should have completely forgotten like nap time and the feeling relaxing music the teacher played to make us take a nap and somehow I remember the same precious moments baby blanket that was strangely soft and made me addicted to feeling it because it was the softest thing I ever felt and I had the same exact or similar rug as the wall poster at 9:30 which gives me tears looking at it. I can even smell the new rug smell from then too
If time travel was possible it would be very unsettling going back then and seeing all these forgotten or nearly forgotten moments from that time having a memory box and pictures of then makes me very gratefull.
Am I the only one that finds the music somewhat comforting and familiar? Almost as if the music is bringing back pleasant distance memories that I can't quite fully recall... Like honestly, some of those melodies I could swear on my own life that I've heard before... But the memories are too distant to truly re-experience? Anyone know what I mean.
Most of these are just slow music box versions of real children's songs, except for one the author said he wrote himself. -Bouncy castle room after falling in ball pit: "If your happy and you know it, clap your hands..." -Play City: a very slowed down version of "Rock-a-bye baby in the treetop..." -Room with sun on ceiling: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." -Wrapping paper wall maze with turn gates to golden paradise: "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."
@@Keshkitsune Woah! Thank you so much! Damn... I can't believe it... They are real songs I used to listen to as a child! No wonder I found them so comforting! Thanks for bringing back some childhood memories! :3
Is it any wonder why I want to be a kid again? Maybe not quite THIS young, but if I EVER find a way to BE what I'm SUPPOSED to be, you know, a child, as I'm just a kid in an adult body, I'll take it.
4:32 You've been in backrooms for so long. Time doesn't mean anything to you, not anymore. Still you hear a music reminds you that you've been born someday. You want just one candle and some memories to celebrate with. Your memories which you begin to lose for since before.
You give a lot to this this Backrooms Community. To top it off, might be to make a good conclusion. However your still going strong. The little girl that helps us, did hit me. I feel a cathartic ending would make this story have melody.
I had a dream in a backroom just like this one 12/12/23! Quote from my dream journal: "We got into a building that had people with childlike energy all lined up doing something fun so we joined to blend in. We go through a hole and end up in another room. This room is so small and full of what can be best described as a kids playground equipment smashed in this room. We could barely move and it was FULL of people. Finally I escaped out of a small hole and when we made it to the other side I felt like I could finally breathe. A man came to me and showed me a mini Bible that had a baby blue rubbery cover. The "Bible" was in white bubble letters. The man told me "I need you to help me" and I asked him what he needs. He told me he passed away and that his death was even on camera but nobody will take responsibility of him dying while being crushed. He said the people act like they didn't crush him. I don't remember what happened after that. " End quote.
I loved !! In december i start to watch your videos and now i can’t stop watching again and again, i love your work!! Congratulations!! I’m from Mexico jaja is an interesting thing and i know English because i take classes often anyway i really love your videos!! 😊
I hate to reference a previous video on this but I am curious. How did Rosemary finally find out that Lavenders “game” was actually bad. Like what was different with our protagonist than others before him that made Rosemary understand her sisters bad intent.
Thank you so much! No need to apologize I love it when I get questions or reference previous videos it shows that you enjoyed and are interested to learn more! As for your question on how Rosemary: she found out because of the yelling Lavender (disguised as Luna) was making (during the chase after the camera man found out he was peeking at her transformation). She even had plans to pretend to help the camera man and lore him into the hall of the wires (where you also saw a few unlucky survivors engulfed in it on the chase scene) all that running and yelling made a LOT of noise and if you recall even outside (Eternal Suburbia part 6) is very quiet so Rosemary with abnormal powers could definitely hear that.
This is a *MUSIC PLAYLIST* from my previous episodes (which was highly requested). I will continue making more animations and updates of part 10 very soon. In the mean time enjoy! 🎶

You make such incredible videos!
BRO THIS CRAZY HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO MAKE THIS COOL BACKROOMS VIDEO🤯
I love the look and feel of this whole series-great colors and textures.
Splendid trip amigo-thanks for the ride!
I absolutely love the music and the colors. More importantly how the songs fit the theme of the room. Eerie yes cause no kids anywhere but it makes me reminisce about birthday parties during my childhood as a kid
:) :) :)
This feels like something that I might experience in my dreams.
OOMGG YEESSS, you have no idea how much I love the Golden Paradise/The Happy Birthday song I'm so happy you uploaded an OST AAAA
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled to hear that you liked it!
You covered all the nursery rhymes/lullabies that I can think of, and you put your own Backrooms spin on them, EXCELLENT WORK!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Still learning the songs on the piano. But I can’t till this comes out 👍
Star field play place?
Sounds like something right up my alley of hyper focused content.
Yeah
Childhood nightmares made real! These nostalgic play places many of us have distant memories of now were great fun but they could easily take a quick sinister turn if you got lost. If you couldn't spot Mummy off to the side anymore. I say this because I do vaguely recall one such incident in my own childhood and even though I can't quite get all the details anymore, it is the fear and dread that I do remember clearly! I think you capture this feeling in your renderings and music. A subtle sense of something sinister lurking beneath the fun and innocent looking surface. Thanks for sharing! 👍
You need to make a game out of all of these rooms. Incredible content and music.
Congratulations on the good work you did, this series of blackrooms was perfect, very well done and organized the part that moved me the most was Rosemary, and all the other scenes and parts were well created congratulations on the great work
I love this, It reminds me of the Spyro the dragon credits where the camera pans around the area
Beautiful, like a long lost dream
Your attention to detail in your videos is amazing. Can't wait for the next one.
Thank you very much!
Thank you for uploading this, I loved the background music from the play palace areas and having them all in this video with no other sounds is perfect for feeling nostalgic and relaxed
:) :) :)
I love how it showcases all of the places, great compilation and views of the areas.
Yay!! Can't wait!! I've had my eyes peeled for this!!
This I’m falling asleep to tonight 🙏🏻 no doubt about it. These videos and the music are so relaxing 😌
Love you dude. The first music so calm and lullaby like.
I can't wait to hear the music.
honestly i would not be opposed to the idea of doing this for every previous level: a ''calm'' showcase of both the music and the scenarios/levels, since both are quite superd and unique to your style. but then again i undesrtand that that could take time.
Nice to see that not only Kane is a great composer of Backrooms music as well, congratulations on everything once again mate!
Thank you!
I love watching all of your videos, and I just wanted to say thank you for working so hard on them. Everyone loves them and I know for sure I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos.
Great atmosphere
Awesome design
Intriguing lore
Absolutely love your works!
Thank you so much for the compliment! I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed them! It means a lot! ⭐🌌✨
OMG! How did I miss this?!? I’ve been longing for a new video & this being in the play palace is even better! 🎉🙌🏼🎊
The carousel room gives me boss arena vibes and i love it
I'm sooo happy with this ❤️ I wish you have your dreams comes true. Appreciate your efforts ❤️❤️
Now we can have little clam dreams with Rosemary and Lavender.
Thank you so much 😀
I can just... go to sleep rite now. So freaking Relaxing.
Why does the first one sound like Lost At A Sleepover from OMORI…?
Also, here are the other songs I know from these last two episodes:
4:31 - Happy Birthday
11:43 - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
16:32 - You Are My Sunshine
28:23 - If You’re Happy And You Know It
This actually kinda seems to help me with my falling asleep problem. Should try that some time. Very nice. Much appreciated 🙏
Thank you for this 😍 I like the happy birthday song so much
ohh, this sounds interesting!!
I'm inspired by the best! You! I still love to listen to ALL your playlists!
@@lostinthehyperverse ❤
The more I keep looking at these areas the more my mind thinks they are a Super Mario 64 level lol
Very amazing desing, on literally everything
👌
This level would be a true nightmare if it were full of screaming young children. :O Trust me, I've taken my children to Chuck E Cheese enough times in the past to know; and their parents are often worse.
That is precisely why so many pitchers of draft beer were sold, in those places! 😆
It looks as if the wonderer is the size of a doll compared to the rooms on this level, making the wonderer feel very inferior and weak inside the liminal space. And the vid almost feels like living inside a childhood dream.
A colorful memory yet eerie feeling this level gives me is outstanding. It gives me lost mental vibes. Definitely don't agree how quite this place is.
You make the most beautiful backrooms videos of all time
when i was younger, like 4 or 5, my parents had a kiosk in the mall. i wasn't in school, and they would work, so i would tag along with them everyday. a lot of my memories from that time are really fuzzy, but one of the main things i remember is the playplace there, on the other side of the mall. i would beg them to take me all the time, and every so often my dad would give in and bring me over there. it was a constant thing to look forward to in those years, and honestly i had forgotten all about it before watching your most recent videos. i love liminal spaces & backrooms content, but nothing's hit close to home quite like the starfield playpalace. it makes me so, so nostalgic.
i love your work, dude :) it's awesome seeing your constant improvement & creativity. i usually don't comment on youtube videos but your channel absolutely captivates me. can't wait to see what you do next!
i like seeing the entire map
Your videos bring me such a great vibe, not only just the fact you added lore here (rosemary and luna etc) you captured the true aesthetic of liminal spaces and there immense nostalgia but the music that goes along with these videos makes it all the more amazing, if there is anyone i come to when in need of nostalgic comfort it you, keep up the good work bro you deserve every viewer and subscriber you have ❤❤
UR BACK I MISSED UR VIDEOS SO MUCH UR VIDEOS LOOKED SO REAL AND AWESOME LOVE UR CONTENT KEEP IT UP👍
Just imagine that I could visit this place in real life and walking alone while these music playing, it could make me feel nostalgia to something and feeling creepy lonely but still fun. 😂❤
Really enjoyed listening to the music from the FUN episodes so I'm rather enthusiastic to listen to this. 💖
OMG yessssss this was so worth the wait! New sleeping music lol
Every time I listen these playlists especially the cloud field pathways music is so peaceful like it literally put my mom and I to sleep.
Great ambient video, getting a tour through while getting to listen to the music. You've done great work on these worlds.
True
This made me cry at the morning cuz it’s so relaxing and nice
Keep making more of these videos Bro one of them almost made me tear upp great work :) :) :)
:) :) :) :)
this is beyond brilliant dude plz make this into a full game!
-Bouncy castle room after falling in ball pit: "If your happy and you know it, clap your hands..."
-Play City: a very slowed down version of "Rock-a-bye baby in the treetop..."
-Room with sun on ceiling: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..."
-Wrapping paper wall maze with turn gates to golden paradise: "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."
@@Keshkitsune Woah! Thank you so much! Damn... I can't believe it... They are real songs I used to listen to as a child! No wonder I found them so comforting!
Thanks for bringing back some childhood memories! :3
I feel it
Super vidéo j'ai une petite question comment tu as fait pour l'éffet de la caméra quand le personnage marche ?
this is literally the perfact backroom music I've been craving for, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're welcome! Enjoy!
Is it any wonder why I want to be a kid again? Maybe not quite THIS young, but if I EVER find a way to BE what I'm SUPPOSED to be, you know, a child, as I'm just a kid in an adult body, I'll take it.
I'm listening to this while eating ramen on a raining day, perfect.
4:32 You've been in backrooms for so long. Time doesn't mean anything to you, not anymore. Still you hear a music reminds you that you've been born someday. You want just one candle and some memories to celebrate with. Your memories which you begin to lose for since before.
I wish the theme music for the Wires was here, I really love that ominous music
Ikr
You give a lot to this this Backrooms Community. To top it off, might be to make a good conclusion. However your still going strong. The little girl that helps us, did hit me. I feel a cathartic ending would make this story have melody.
I had a dream in a backroom just like this one 12/12/23!
Quote from my dream journal:
"We got into a building that had people with childlike energy all lined up doing something fun so we joined to blend in. "
End quote.
Your videos are amazing. I LOVE it
Thank you so much!
I loved !! In december i start to watch your videos and now i can’t stop watching again and again, i love your work!! Congratulations!! I’m from Mexico jaja is an interesting thing and i know English because i take classes often anyway i really love your videos!! 😊
Thank you so much!!
Thanks to you :3
Finally, we get a music playlist just as I wanted! Can you do it for Grass Corridors next?
I hate to reference a previous video on this but I am curious. How did Rosemary finally find out that Lavenders “game” was actually bad. Like what was different with our protagonist than others before him that made Rosemary understand her sisters bad intent.
Agh I forgot to mention I really love your work, I can’t believe I forgot to say that, so sorry.
@@lostinthehyperverse oh, that makes a lot of sense, thank you so much!!
This sounds familiar like I watched the video but dont remember...Gonna have to find it bc Im intrigued now lol
