    I know learning theory can only help but when has anyone, ever in the history of fuzz and doom said "I think that guy hit a wrong note". If you can hear "a wrong note" through a Sunn Beta lead on full blast with a fuzz your a better man than me! And let's be honest. 90% of us are tuned down and using one finger. Lol

    • @DoesItDoom
      @DoesItDoom  3 года назад +6

      The wrong notes are the ones that sound best. Knowing a bit about scales and intervals will help you find them and hit them more frequently. :)

    clicked thinking it would fly over my head, but this helped me understand the concepts better than 10 years of trying to figure it out myself and 7 more years on RUclips casually trying to learn. the big issue being, guitar time and youtube time are usually separate and much of the information is lost to the time between the two. However I came away from this with instant understanding and can dissect a lot of the techniques I've been using lately in my head. Thank you.

      @@DoesItDoom more of this and I'll be hitting that bell bro. I play primarily deathcore, so knowing how to explain and understand a 4# diad and triad(which a assume adds a root or another note of a scale) is awesome. maybe a video about diads/triads or arpeggios vs scales etc. break it down like this and explain.

    I'm new to the genre and love it. But I come from playing 50s-70s classic rock, and 50s-80s country stuff. For you guys that don't know country stuff is harder than any genre I've tried. I grew up on old country and bluegrass. If you can't put this to spective or understand it. Choose a different instrument. 80% of this genre is finding your tone. The rest is groove. Take some time slow down, and use your Brain. If that don't work. This prob is not for you.

    With all due respect, but thats so verrry basic, and I would expect any and all guitarrists to know that (and much more).
