- In this episode of Greg's Library, we take a look at Barbara Klemm who may be described as the grande dame of German post-war photography. She captured crucial moments in German history such as the fall of the Berlin Wall and took portraits of famous artists and writers such as Andy Warhol or Umberto Eco. Leading up to Barbara Klemm's 80. birthday, we discuss her career at Frankfurter Allgemeine Magazine and her particular way of framing images.
At the end of the video, we also look back at film in 2019 and provide an outlook on our plans for the channel in 2020.

I am pleased to hear that analogue photography is back. I grew up with Ilford 127 film. Used to spend my pocket money buying it for about a shilling each. Now I am in my mid 70,s been trying to organise my snaps to leave to my grand kids.Lots of memories revisited.
Wonderful to hear that story of Barbara Klemperer and to see those amazing photographs.
Had the pleasure of meeting her in 2018 and document an exhibition vernissage of her work at my university. Very humble and nice lady. :D

Interessantes Video. Für 2020 würde ich mir aber wünschen wenn es wieder etwas mehr "The story behind the shoot" Folgen gibt. Ich finde die Gear Reviews haben für mich in 2019 einen sehr großen Platz in Eurem Channel eingenommen.

Wie die Zeit vergeht. Ist schon 5 Jahre her, dass ich die Ausstellung von Barbara Klemm und Stefan Moses in Bonn besuchen durfte.
Die Ausstellung und die gezeigten Fotografien habe ich in guter Erinnerung.
