My brother just got the small diesel generator they use to keep vehicles warm in the Arctic so they keep starting and he uses that to heat up his pole barn and it works rather well and the things tiny, you just have to be able to vent the fumes outdoors and you're good
Hey Lead, how is the smell when it gets heated up? Is it a strong kerosene smell? Do you need ventilation? Does it kinda works like a space natural gas heater? Would you recommend a carbon monoxide monitor?
Cool..tks..heh I found at Walmart the clean no smell kerosene fuel..I got some for my mom and dad for their kerosene lamps..stockup..I went back for more and there was NONE
What up witit, Guv? This Cowbell here in HellDorado, Arkansas. I used the Daddy of that heater to heat my family back in the day. Worked fine for years. Course you could glide into the Union 76 station for Kerosene/ Jet A at the pump. Not anymore! lol But us old dogs don’t know how to give up…We know thaze more than one way to skin a cat.
That is not true. It is just a safe inside of a home as it is inside of a garage or a cabin. I’ve been using these all my life and I’m 51 years old. I’m able to type to you today because I’m still alive.
Please read up on this type of heater to see if this may fit your situation. This is an indoor outdoor heater. The fuel that you use really makes a huge difference in performance and health safety.
In Japan uses it in small apartements. You may open the window some milimeters. About the accidents, the moderns kerosene heaters has a sistem that turn off the flame if the heaters tips over.
but you need a lot of space to store all the kerosene they guzzle up like crazy And indoors you need the cleaner, refined K-1. It gets more expensive than public electric and gas.
walmart K-1 for indoor use is around $11 per gallon. I can't afford these heaters, they use so much kerosene. Table top kerosene oil lamps are another option. That's what i use, but i live in an insulated 12x20 shed. As long as you seal off drafts, the oil lamps should work to keep you warm. keep the wick to just below smoking ! oil lamps wicks should not be so high they smoke.

I have done several reviews on them. yes they are awesome.

I love these heaters. I have 2 of the larger ones. Lots of heat. I haven’t seen the smaller ones. Thanks for the info Mr. Lead.🙏
I have the big ones too but I can’t really use them in my cabins because they are way too big and take up too much space.
Thanks so much Lead for sharing. Blessings to you and yours🙏🏾🌞

They are unsafe in an enclosed home. Fine for garages and cabins where there is more air exchange.

A great small heater

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate you and your Queen for sharing, and keeping us in the loop 😇👍🏽
Would we need ventilation or a C02 detector?
Both
I have one of those- excellent
When i was growing up my Daddy had the big one😊😊😊
I still have the big one. This one is so much easier to pick up and handle.
That's awesome 👍 Thanks for sharing LF73 🙏❤️
Glad to see you’re doing well ❤
Thank you.
Nice 👌🏾
Thanks
You are welcome.
That's beautiful...
I purchased mine last year!
but you need a lot of space to store all the kerosene they guzzle up like crazy And indoors you need the cleaner, refined K-1. It gets more expensive than public electric and gas.
the heat is more intense making the price equal to that of electric public heating.
Just ordered from Tractor Supply for $107. On sale. Free shipping.
U the 💣
The price of kerosene is thru the Roof.
The price of EVERYTHING is the through the roof! 😂

@@pattiannepascual I use a homemade shaker on top of my lamps which helps a little. I also use the homemade shaker with tea lights too.
Ohhh that's nice
Yeah it is. I’m so glad that they make smaller versions of this. my big one is just too big for my cabin or Rv.
Looking for ventilation needs, as I have a 1 year old granddaughter in our home
I am not quite sure what you mean. Can you help me out a little more?
@leadfarmer73 I know with the larger kerosene heaters, they tend to put off fumes. I was wondering if this smaller version did the same?
Your links aren't working.
Have had a couple larger ones, STINK SO BAD.
sounds like you may need to change your wick and use better fuel. if you do that there is no smell whatsoever.
@@leadfarmer73 changing the circle wicks was a routine deal ,was using local kerosene to no avail. Heaters went to dump.
@@jameshaley2638 still sounds like you were using dirty fuel from the station. Where you get your fuel from makes a huge difference.
