- Join me on an exhilarating journey as we fly from Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH) to San Francisco, California (KSFO). We’ll kick things off at the gate, watching as catering trucks load the aircraft while we power up the systems and configure the flight in the FMC. For our clearance, taxi, and takeoff, I’ll be using Beyond ATC to inject live air traffic, enhancing the realism of our experience. As we descend and land in San Francisco, I’ll employ FSLTL to further integrate live traffic.
Our journey begins at Hong Kong International Airport, enhanced by scenery from Orbx. This airport, located on reclaimed land at Chek Lap Kok, serves as a vital regional hub, connecting passengers to 45 destinations in China and across Asia. The airport is one of the hubs for Oneworld alliance and is one of the Asia-Pacific hubs for UPS Airlines. With over 100 airlines operating flights to more than 180 cities worldwide, Hong Kong International Airport is the 8th busiest in the world by passenger traffic and ranks 3rd for international passenger traffic, accommodating around 68.5 million travelers annually.
Upon arrival, we’ll experience San Francisco International Airport in stunning detail, thanks to the Flightbeam Studios Captains Edition addon. Located just 13 miles south of downtown San Francisco, KSFO is one of the world’s busiest and most iconic airports. With its extensive terminals and four runways, it welcomes over 55 million passengers each year, offering connections to more than 100 global destinations.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight!
