- Paladin is absolutely dominating the Hearthstone ranked ladder right now, but no one is playing Earthen Paladin, which is a super fun and surprising way to get some easy wins.

Deck Power Estimate: This deck felt surprisingly powerful. It doesn't have the crazy win rates of other Paladin archetypes right now, but was a capable climbing deck for me.

itll just speed the deck up as theyll cut the high cost cards for more aggro - played 11 games over the last 2 days (I play DK as i havent hit max lvl for him yet), 8 paladin, 2 DH, 1 DH. the 8 paladin decks were borderline identical too#
edit: point proven by the decks regis plays here, at least regis is using a more unique deck but everyone just plays the overpowered meta

Oh man, it was so disappointing how bad earthens were when they came out haha. maybe i will need to try this out.

I feel like a reno earthen deck could work with spirit of the badlands discovering the earthen minion generators and Tyr
Maybe, issue is spirit of the badlands could brick stuff like tyr's tears or Tyr
@@PenguinWithInternetAccess as a one of I don't think its so bad but yea it certainly gets worse with more paladin minions maybe have that as the only non earthen paladin minion in the cost range for those rez cards? should help that issue a bit to have neutral minons instead for the early game.
Doesn't reno and earthern directly contradict each other as reno needs singleton cards only and eartherns whole point is that they get stronger the more you have of them?
Edit: I see now what you mean, but that's still not good deckbuilding imo because if you don't draw that spirit of the badlands, you're (mostly) just playing a lower power earthern deck
you cut out about 3 earthen-related cards (2 earthen summoners 1 reviver) and would need spirit to get 3 earthen cards just to break even... yeahhh doesnt seem that amazing tbh
No matter what deck im playing, im always nervous aggro paladin is lurking about ready to beat my face in with its unforgiving interactions.

No maybe instead of something else but idk that card is so insanely slow
If you run into a lot of stuff like rainbow mage maybe, but I feel like it's not a great card against hunter and pally notably

Think so. Been using this deck today and it happened to me. And with the order in court nerf, I’m thinking of mixing in some different cards like showdown
Commented because I was so sure Regis misplayed at 19:22, but he draws the cards as if the deck didn't get shuffled. Either it's something with the order in the court or blizzard changed tradeable at some point and I just didn't notice.
i use to love Paladin but i prefer Death Knight now i was curious how everyone felt about frost Death Knight?

@@psichosis1069 I'm not sure for others but I only lost to paladin and warrior as thadlock. Felt super fun to play with the massive bodies and discounts early. I believe they have over 50% win rate
Well i'm sure glad we nerfed only the cheese decks that could beat Paladin and not Paladin itself...
I never understood why Paladin often shows up to the most random metas with some insanely interesting and powerful decks. It also tends to be only one deck, and every other expansion has something less competitively viable to play with. Such a fascinating class.

Well it's never op combos it's just playing good cards every turn so even when it's op it's not really toxic

Aggro paladin is the one thing keeping me from making it to legend. Once i make it to 2 diamond i get completely overwhelmed by them and pushed back with sometimes facing up to 8 in a row all playing the exact same deck
Saw a lot of people online complaining about nerfing paladin and stuff. I feel like at diamond 5 I haven't seen any. But I certainly see where the problems lie
