I know right? I was like “well if he has two broken bones and is riding top of the world, we will get some awesome views” but nooooo he just has to fill send it with a broken ankle and wrist
Hey Jesse, love your videos, thank you for sharing them with us. I broke a wrist and a collarbone around the same time you had your crash last year and seeing you riding this fast so soon after was both reassuring and inspiring. Good luck with the season when it starts!
that's Peak to Valley, 5200ft vertical?! that's hard even on skiis!! wow, kudos to you, man! did a bit on Cypress Mntn on the North Shore in the rain and the wet slim lines were deadly...great video!
@@JesseMelamedMTB I was almost going to say "There's always next year!". But I'll hope you'll be free from injuries then and up to non-talking-race-speed again!
I've been watching this run on repeat. It's like a masterclass on technique. What camera do you use, how and where is it mounted? So smooth and very clear voice recording.
What kind of crepe tape do you use in that video ? I struggle a lot with armstrengh during long trails and still thinking about to put some grip tape on my bar
@@JesseMelamedMTB ahh okay, thanks :). I saw something like that at arown gwins or gee atherthon runs last year and tought it was crepe Tape to have more strenght and Control on the bar
Who the heck disliked this? Incredible !! Just started riding 5 weeks after a minor radial head fracture. I didn’t gain super powers like that though 😋
A couple broken bones, you kidding me? I can't even imagine shredding like that with all bones whole 🤣
It's rough with and without broken bones haha
Such a positive attitude, regardless of you finishing position you have already won. Keep it up
Thank you!
Best 'podcast' ever. Your POVs with commentaries are absolute pleasure to watch. Heal up bro and keep shredding!
Cheers! They'll keep coming.
Absolutely sick riding man! But I’d love to check out the view more, so if you could slow down a little that would be great 👌🏼🙃
I know right? I was like “well if he has two broken bones and is riding top of the world, we will get some awesome views” but nooooo he just has to fill send it with a broken ankle and wrist
Thanks for the great POV and commentary! Keep kickin it the rest of the race!
Dude total respect to race despite these conditions 😲. I can't imagine just how mental this one was! Hats down!
Hey Jesse, love your videos, thank you for sharing them with us. I broke a wrist and a collarbone around the same time you had your crash last year and seeing you riding this fast so soon after was both reassuring and inspiring. Good luck with the season when it starts!
Thank you! While it was inspiring, it was also because I wanted to be back racing! Taking the proper time to heal I'd important!
this is without a dought the best thing ive ever seen...

It is a big descent! The long video proves it!
Thanks for the cool video and congrats for the effort you have done!! It's needed to know how to suffer!! Respect!! 💪👍
Thank you! It was tough!
That stage is endless, wow
Absolutely insane! I really liked some lines you took in the tech and rocky section!
Thanks! I've ridden it a lot so I think I have the lines pretty dialled.
Yup.. very inspiring and really interesting to hear you talking through it.
Nice work mate, I rode that track with a fresh broken wrist, wasn't ideal, but was still sick!
You are tough guy my friend. Heal up fast man! All best
Thanks!
Great run Jesse! Can't wait until you're back up to full speed... sending a speedy healing prayer your way!
Thank you!

damnnnnnn mate thats a solid effort.
ida gone into that creek at the 11+ minute mark for sure LOL
22 min... with broken bones... that trail would probably take me two hours to get down. With a nice lunch break at half-way.
I've been watching this run on repeat. It's like a masterclass on technique. What camera do you use, how and where is it mounted? So smooth and very clear voice recording.
Thank you! Using a GoPro Hero 7. I use a ninja mount to mount it under my visor.
What kind of crepe tape do you use in that video ? I struggle a lot with armstrengh during long trails and still thinking about to put some grip tape on my bar
I was just using road bar tape. Only to soften the impact on my hand because of the pain.
@@JesseMelamedMTB ahh okay, thanks :). I saw something like that at arown gwins or gee atherthon runs last year and tought it was crepe Tape to have more strenght and Control on the bar
That was totally badass!

The gopro microphone rode into a cave at 13m
This is not physical therapy Jesse. Maybe try a rubber band next time. Cheers on the performance.
