- Granny Grumbledore, as she is now called, gets the surprise of a lifetime when she finds out that after 20 years of complaining, she is finally a grandmother. First time, 1st time.

Some people have asked for an update video. We don't have a family update video, but we do have these videos featuring Cav and his sister we made for our local Rotary Club. And yes, they both live up to their names. As of March 2021 Cav is 9 years old & Amélie is 7.

Thanks for the kind wishes. The adoption was perfect, and since the time of this video we have adopted Cavanaugh's little sister as well. We couldn't be more in love with the two of them.

Thanks for all of the great comments. A quick update. We have officially adopted little Cavanaugh (Now approaching 3-years old). Last December we received a call that he now has a little sister (full blood). We are now fostering her and hope to have the adoption completed by the end of the year. So much quicker this time.

Grandma has a wonderful sense of humor.
Thanks to all who are watching. Both Cavanaugh and his sister Amélie are doing great. We can't imagine life without them. Even Granny Grumbledore is head-over-heels with her grandkids. And The last name Boe isn't a reference to Dr. Who. We like to think Dr. Who is a reference to us. But if it's any consolation little Amélie's middle name is Riversong.

Thank you, Liz. We're all doing well. Cavanaugh and his sister Amélie are 9 and 7 years old now. They are great kids and we have a lot of fun with them. They are the best thing that has ever happened to us.

This is so special! For years on my birthday my sister requested (and then demanded) I give her a baby - a kid for my parents; a nephew or niece for my sister. I wasnt married and actually quite gay (in closet to them). On my 25th Birthday I called my sister to announce a friend was giving birth out of wedlock and we decided to give her the baby...since she wanted one so much. It stopped her demands. This is a much better way to do it! Congrats!
