Ang usapin po in case of death abroad, isa lang po ang mag aaply na insurance which is under the P&I Club or insurance. Ang Comp Ins Cov po ay hindi na makukuha ng Seafarer under the POEA contract. Kasi po whichever is higher lang daw pero not indicated in the contract or law ang mga katagang whichever is highet. Inilalaban ko po that the OFW should have both dahil yun ang nakasaad sa batas. If ayaw nila ibigay ang isa, they should bring the matter to remedial legislation para baguhin ang batas. May inquiry na po ako sa POEA and the response was they were delegated legislative powers.
