I love this guitar tone she had back then .
Samantha Fish on my top 5 guitar heroes list for sure
I am super jealous of those who got to follow her thru the years and see her amazing years of great covers
I bet I have watched this video 58 thousand times!
Full Power........ awesome Samantha..... thanks to youtube, we here in india can see n enjoy her music....... boom 🎉
I 💘 Samantha Fish so much!
What a band! All three are great and the bass player at 4:40!
I think I like her with longer hair more than what she has nowadays. She's still a beautiful goddess either way 🥰
What a sound from just three players - Bloody good!
I like Samantha's original stuff very much...but I fracking LOVE her covers of classic songs!
I spent 4 decades thinking nobody could ever compete with CCR's cover of "I Put A Spell On You".....'til I saw Sam. Woah.
Even when she stays faithful to the original's structure (e.g. War Pigs, and this vid), the combination of her inherent style, and the tone of that sweet-assed, semi-hollow custom Tele of hers, make for a memorably unique path being blazed through some seriously well-known territory.
Damn right Ray, she is awesome.
Totally
The best trio ! What a performance !
nice Samantha...growing all the time.
With this video performance Samantha has just confirmed my suspicions that The Devil Is Actually A Woman!

Check out @jimmydillon cover. He takes lots of liberties with the lyrics but it’s a kick ass version. His green strat has unbelievable tone.

Hey you all Samantha fans. Is it just me noticing that Sam hardly ever users her fourth/(littlest) finger when soloing? In fact, she seems to be holding it well out of the way. Not that it diminishes her playing. She seems to use it on bar chords though. Any thoughts?
Well, I find that mighty interesting. I didn't notice until you mentioned it. I pretty much never use my pinky either for soloing but I'm not very good! For me, I just never felt comfortable using it and my fingers are on the short side. There's probably more to it than that, but thats the best I can come up with. Perhaps somebody else can enlighten us about the technical aspects of using or not using.
Watch some of her other videos and solos she’s been around a while and actually does use her little finger when playing
Oh dear if she is the devil my soul ain't got a chance. Probably a line at the gates of hell waiting to buy a ticket....
Redheads rock, naturally red
Marry me
PLease to meet if you guest my name..!
Come back to God.
I wish I was dead
The thing that separates Samantha Fish from the ubiquitous "hot chick shredders" is feel, commitment and soul. I wish she'd cut it with the contrived showbiz stage patter. But, hell she's young and will grow out of that. Sure SFTD is an easy out, but the band ripped it. Her original and classic blues stuff is far better. Here's hoping she doesn't turn into Joe Bonomassa and start selling key chains and shit online.
I would like a supply of guitar picks tho...i would pass them out and say "You gotta see this gal in person. ...in the meantime buy her album"
nhl
Always too much !
YEAH hhhhh ! ....a joke! a Joke!
