- Noggin is officially shutting down. Known for playing Nick Jr. shows and educational content featuring mascots Moose and Zee, Noggin has existed in some form since 1999. Now, Nickelodeon and Paramount have set a date for the shutdown of the service as its content moves to Paramount+. Thanks for everything.

That’s what I really wanted for some time with Sprout, but I’ve learned my lesson and will let its legacy stand rather than tamper with it. That’s what I hope NOGGIN fans do with it.

Yes I was scrolling the comments to see if anyone else remembered The N! Remember the animated show O’Grady? It seems so obscure and hard to find now but it was so good and I feel like it would have aged relatively well

Noggin was my childhood along with pbs kids they really shape my early 2000 childhood
Meanwhile PBS Kids is free, still going strong and has a dedicated App to download an stream free content. I never got why Noggin didn't follow the same platform. Yet they rather charge people instead of making it free to stream. Just place ads like if it was on TV running commercials an the network would be fine free.
Fun fact: If Moose' voice sounds familiar, that is because Paul Christie voiced Moose. Whom of which is also the voice of Stick Stickly. Much like how Moose was the host of noggin, Stick Stickly was the host of Nick in the afternoon. I found this very cool because I grew up with Nick Jr and when I looked up who Stick Stickly was, I nearly cried with joy hearing that familiar voice
Noggin was a BIG part of my childhood. I have a few Noggin tapes from 2008, and I used to watch them all the time from 2010-2014 because I missed Noggin so much.

Same here, it was a big part of my childhood back when I was little. Honestly though, I thought Noggin was gone many years ago because I never saw the logo on TV again since around the 4th grade.
Same I saw the transition as Moose and Zee stopped appearing in between shows and the narrators started.

On the other side, Noggin previously shut down in 2009 (which is quite normal). I'm working on a fanmade concept of Noggin that airs classic shows and new ones 24/7.

I really wish Viacom, Warner etc actually cared about quality children’s programming including the shows Boomers and Millennials watched. That and I hope parents showed their kids our shows - be it RUclips or DVD - instead of C*c*m*l*n.

Whether it’s a yellow moose with a blue bird, a blue dog who leaves paw prints, a playful brown bear, a green turtle, a blue octopus with a pet dog whose body shapes like a hotdog, a bilingual girl with a monkey friend, five colorful animals who explore their backyard, a yellow gerbil like creature, a mouse like character who has his own band, a guinea pig, turtle and duck dressed up as superheroes, two bunny siblings, a girl who tells bedtime stories with her zoo animal friends, a talking hand, and others, Noggin will always be a good memory to us.

I think what Sealed Noggin was when Noggin kicked Moose a Moose and Zee off of the program on TV AND the app. To quote Heavy: "No big surprise!"
That and changing the Noggin logo to something that looks more like the current day Nick logos. At this point, my only hope is that Moose & Zee move to Paramount+. And if you want to keep Moose and Zee then get the Let’s Hear it for the Laurie Berkner Band! DVD. Moose and Zee are the hosts and they have four Moose and Zee songs included.
Actually, I believe it's because these big companies like Viacom think children will only watch things that rot their brains. I’ve always wanted what’s best for children, and this upsets me.

R.I.P. to the goat. I used to watch the Noggin channel religiously back in 2008 - 2012. Little Bear was my personal favorite show. Oswald, Pinky Dinky Doo, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Wow Wow Wubzy just to name a few were also some certified hood classics tbfh.

To not only missing the Noggin hosts Moose and Zee for those of the majority that grew up with them, but to also remember other Noggin tv hosts that came before, like for kids who watched it around its debut era 1999-2001 was our fictional pickle mascot Phred that liked to hop on different heads (or Noggins as they like to call them!), or if people were lucky enough to watch this mascot for this singular year of 2002 came Feetface, which then had a farewell promo which also introduced our beloved mascots, Moose and Zee, in 2003. Thanks for sparking many people's noggins... you and the channel will all be missed 💙

In their defense they had Nick Jr but they could’ve merged Nick Jr and Noggin to become one or just keep noggin and shut down Nick Jr, although that might be a weird situation

I literally remember watching reruns of the Original Blues Clues on Noggin and it really sucks that Noggin is leaving forever and I'm literally gonna miss that childhood channel someday in the future.

I remember watching the moose and zee segments of noggin on RUclips when I was really young and loving them. I wish I was born a few years earlier to have seen the program on television before it got demoted in the early 2010s. I always loved the strange art style used in those compared to other cartoons. I’ll miss noggin, and it’s a shame that nobody will ever get to properly experience it ever again

@@chardreisvlog9853that was just a fan video. Qubo actually went to black during an episode of Inspector Gadget. Alternatively, it switched to a different show during an episode of Franklin, which had just premiered [on the channel].

I want to go back to the good old days of television.
I used to only have access to the channel through my grandma’s house, before my family got cable, and those were some happy times, getting to stay up all night during the summer to watch cartoons, whether it be on Noggin or Disney Channel, heck, there was even a time when the Noggin TV channel got renamed into Nick Jr., ‘‘tis a sad day, for all of us late 90s/2000s kids.
I'm glad when I was growing up, Noggin was still pretty popular. Noggin was part of my VERY early childhood. Sad to see it going away 😞
