@@scottmattern482what about one person going out of their way to cry about someone else's comment and it's amount of likes? That's pretty weird in itself, regardless whether or not the original comment was relevant.
"Taxi lights off even though we already blinded everybody" exactly how i feel when i turn taxi lights on when flying anything, gave me a good little laugh.
I still think the 'Eye of the Hurricane' flight into Chicago was cool, from a year or two ago.... Can't wait to see more flights and passenger audio :)
Live weather is a very cool MSFS feature. What'll be even COOLER is when it gets LIVE AIR TRAFFIC. Where the planes in the air are actually representations of live aircraft in real time via ADS-B and Mode S data. The day will come when we have that.
i thought of a similar thing for GTA where it would have a roughly true map of a city in the us and then use google maps data to put correct real-time traffic densities on each road.
It's just how flight simulator works, it uses real world weather. It will be flying in good weather when people are experiencing pleasant weather across the country. Guess what the weather will be like in flight simulator when there is a blizzard making it's way across the country? If you guessed, blowing snow, cold temps and overcast skies you are getting the hang of it.
My friend was in the United 777, he sent it to us in Discord ecstatic that he was in an AFP video (and yes he lives near Jacksonville) hello spy, ik you saw this comment
Wanted to note for anyone who doesn't know: A tornado watch and a tornado warning are not the same thing. Of the two, a tornado warning is worse. You can think of it like having tacos. If you have a 'taco watch', then you have a table spread of tortilla shells, lettuce, tomatoes, spicy beef, sour cream, cheese, and whatever other fixin's you fancy. If you have a 'taco warning', there's probably at least one fully-assembled taco somewhere on the table; might be a weak-a$$ taco with only a few ingredients, but it's still technically a taco, and we gotta keep our eyes peeled for it. The third and final option would be a tornado emergency, which, to relate it to the taco analogy, would be like a fully-loaded taco being actively observed on the table, taking ingredients from the various bowls and plates scattered around.
Recently flew for the first time ever, on Southwest no less, and after watching your videos for a while now I might have been quoting you on take-off and landing. Honestly, after watching so many, it actually put my mind at ease this first time on a plane, just cause I understood the procedures. Also, that cloud break was magnificent. We had one on my return flight, and it truly was spectacular.
I give the initial approach a 6.5 out of 10, but as you got that crosswind negotiated, that landing was butter smooth so I'll upgrade to a 8.5 ouf of 10.
I thought this was going to be "OMAHA" last night, a landing just minutes before tornado stuck the runways and took out a general avation building. Passangers were still on the plane. Nice video.
It's great that you're flying a Boeing 737-800 from Southwest Airlines my favorite aircraft flown on this plane many times from Columbus Ohio to Orlando Columbus to Phoenix Orlando to Columbus very solid aircraft

Hi, Phil Swift here with Flex Tape! The super-strong waterproof tape! That can instantly patch, bond, seal, and repair! Flex tape is no ordinary tape; its triple thick adhesive virtually welds itself to the surface, instantly stopping the toughest leaks. Leaky pipes can cause major damage, but Flex Tape grips on tight and bonds instantly! Plus, Flex Tape’s powerful adhesive is so strong, it even works underwater! Now you can repair leaks in pools and spas in water without draining them! Flex Tape is perfect for marine, campers and RVs! Flex Tape is super strong, and once it's on, it holds on tight! And for emergency auto repair, Flex Tape keeps its grip, even in the toughest conditions! Big storms can cause big damage, but Flex Tape comes super wide, so you can easily patch large holes. To show the power of Flex Tape, I sawed this boat in half! And repaired it with only Flex Tape! Not only does Flex Tape’s powerful adhesive hold the boat together, but it creates a super strong water tight seal, so the inside is completly dry! Yee-doggy! Just cut, peel, stick and seal! Imagine everything you can do with the power of Flex Tape!
love the Vatsim playlist. its fun to watch the first 2 times then great to listen to at very low temp while sleeping. ive tried to play flight sim so many times...im the worst.
AFAIC, United1630 did a 10/10 considering the circumstwnces. Dude came in quite high, almost completely blind and stuck a landing in extreme conditions. Given calm conditions he would have abaolutely buttered it.
had a similar experience once flying into PCB Florida. felt like we were falling a couple times and pretty sure we went sideways on the runway at one point
