But nowadays , wifi's are quite immune to wordlisting attacks. So you might wanna try 'John The Ripper'.

JTR is still just a hashcracker like Hashcat. And Crunch (which was depicted in the video) just generates a wordlist from pattern (much like bruteforcing with John/Hashcat). And the immunity of the local network is dependent on the password strength, so may not always be immune.
I've used hashcat when testing my friend's WPA2-PSK against eapol grab + bruteforce, his password was 10 numbers. Cracked with 3 sessions in parallel in 5 hours or so with overall speed of roughly 700 k(EAPOL+PBKDF2)/sec (not the best hw)
Dude changed his password right after to a better one, lol
And from that moment I also include measuring EAPOL/sec. for all of my benchmarking
