The mix breeding to get a fluffy Frenchie is incredible, the health problems will be massive, pure Frenchies come in one coat, short and don't have Merle colors, that red is close to the same coat as my aussie.
🤨 A fluffy IS a pure frenchie. Fluffy frenchies are pure bred, it’s a gene mutation that causes the longer hair. Also. I’ve had my fluffy for 6 years and she has never had even 1 health issue.
I just purchased a fluffy and mine is more fluffy, pedigree with DNA tested with fluffy gene, I got mine for $2000, it is brindle, black and blonde streaks.
EMBARK TEST ALL YOUR FRENCHIES or any breed for that matter. Breeder should show verification that the dog is pure breed 100% frenchie for the money being charged for pups and studs. A lot of people breeding other dogs into frenchies for structure colors etc but not washing out the mix before bringing them to the table. You can have 100% frenchie visual fluffy Isabella new shade big ropes pinks etc. but it takes time. Before you spend a big bag on studs or pups make sure the breeder verifies it is 100% a frenchie not a mixed dog. Embark test are the best for testing to see the ancestry health and traits (colors) that your dog carries and that it is 100% pure bred. DO NOT LET ANY BREEDER TELL YOU THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 100% because There is !!!! Breeding done right with all the exotic traits coming back to 100% PURE BREED It’s time these breeders stop with the short cuts that’s not being a breeder those are bleeders Taking from the real breeders that put in the time work and money to perfect the bred. This is why the dogs are so expensive not just because it’s fluffy or exotic because it’s fluffy and exotic and 100% pure French Bulldog not a mixed bred dog.
The dna tests are not breeds specific they test for hair color coat variants Merle piebald brindle and length of hair and health a dogs dna looks like a dogs dna just like a humans dna it’s not like a chihuahua and a great Dane have different dna they just have different traits. Like a short tail docked tail prone to certain health markers like hip problems or spinal problems
@@Skandoe I like the new color coat variants as long as you bring in what you want then breed back to breed standards there’s isn’t anything wrong with it at all. The APBT is not a pure dog but it is when they were brought to America 200 years ago they were Staffordshire bull terriers. Then Americans do what they do best and make everything better the brought in pain tolerance from the golden retriever as well as bone structure they brought in stamina from greyhounds and afghan hounds they brought in the things they thought would make a better game dog and created the best dog in the world people from all across the world would bring there dogs to America to test the gas-house Colby Lightner dogs. Mr Boudreaux brought in Great Danes 60 years ago to get some hight into his dogs and thicker front legs carver breed in some red nose dogs from Ireland to get more aggressive dogs. But always breed back to standard as far as I understand it dna can not tell you what specific breed a dog is what they are doing is a generalized guess based on characteristics that show up in the dna like hight coat texture color eye shine tail curl or length an as far as separating an bulldog from a bull dog that’s impossible because a French bulldog is an English bull dog bred to some French rat terrier to make it smaller and lighter more of a lap friendly dog and this was only an out 150 years ago. It’s the same with humans you can look at my dna and tell I’m a white man but that’s simply because my skin pigment is light I am actually what’s called mulatto I am a mix breed what you have there is a French bull dog breed to a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever then breed back to a blue or lilac French bulldog that carried both chocolate and brown with the long hair gene. That is why his ears are bigger and he has those white flashings and liver colored nose.
@@Justthemow I acknowledge and agree , everything your stating are facts I am familiar and have knowledge of how all these breeds came together as well. I’m just stating you can get back to 100% however most of the “breeders” out here now are sacrificing traditions years of work of culture of quality bred dogs for a quick come up and the consumer is unaware of the fact that they are investing into someone’s experiment. They are taking away from the essence of the time and science it takes to produce an exotic pure bred quality Dog. The reason why you’d pay for an exotic is because it possesses traits that are rare bloodlines that are ancestral and that it is 100% brought back to the foundation
